Last night's final showdown between Adam Lambert and Kris Allen was exciting and entertaining. I can't remember the last season of American Idol where I really didn't care which person won because they were both so great in different ways. Cute Kris has such a sweet and talented voice, while Adam has showmanship like no other contestant we've seen on the Idol stage. It's bound to be a close race, and these two men seem to both be humbled and happy just to be a part of the action.
The judges said their praises throughout the evening with Simon giving Kris round one. Adam took round two, and without officially saying it, the judges basically crowned him this year's new worldwide star. Kris held his own, and at the end the judges were thrilled he made it to the finale but they made it seem like he was second choice. This is the first year that I haven’t been able to follow A.I. I'm not sure what the problem is....I've really tried, but I can't seem to get interested in it.
1"exciting and entertaining"?? Don't know what show you were watching. That Kara crap song was atrocious on its own, and the poor kids could do nothing to save it.
2i like Adam but I don't really like his voice, it kinda annoys me after awhile. Kris on the other hand i can listen to all day. I do think Adam will win but I really wish Kris would.
3The song Kara helped write was a horrible song, I'm not sure any singer could sing that! Anyway I think Adam is going to win he has his own uniqueness about him, like prince does. No one can sing a prince song just like no one would be able to sing an Adam song, that is when he has a song. We can't say that about Kris, although he is a great singer as well. Adam for the win!!!
4The best part about last night was Carrie Underwood performing at the end.
5The best part of the contestants singing was ANYTHING but that last song. If they make that the single for whoever wins I don't see the winner getting off to a good start.

12I think it's disgusting of Katie Cruise to bring Suri to American Idol. That kid holds her ears for EVERYTHING..and Katie holding them while she's at a place where she's supposed to be listening to music is absurd! LEAVE the kid at home if you're going to have to hold your hands over her ears the entire time. I'm telling you that's a weird family.

America's vote for Kris Allen, or America's vote against Adam Lambert, seems to be a contemptuous hate vote against various sectors of society that Adam Lambert appears to stand for. In the manipulations, people lost respect of the fact that American Idol is a singing talent competition that’s open to all, and voters forgot that it is not a popularity contest for class of persons -- neither a political race to election nor a religious warfare arena. In Season 8, Kris demonstrated that he is a talented musician and progressively proved that he is an outstanding vocalist; but Adam Lambert consistently proved to be the amazingly innovative artist and the best singer, gifted with a powerful voice. ADAM LAMBERT DESERVED TO WIN. Even Kris knows this within his Christian heart, so much so that when he was unexpectedly handed the undeserved title, he became perplexed and then asserted in open public that "Adam deserves this. I'm sorry..." – instinctively repudiating the unbelievable subsuming vote results in righteous adherence to the glaring truth. You could actually count so many seconds before the visibly bewildered Kris finally acquiesced to receive the undeserved crown, but only after Adam graciously approached to place his arm around his room mate’s shoulder in a gesture of encouragement. ADAM LAMBERT IS THE TRUE WINNER. In addition, I should also ask: What is wrong with this TV show called “American Idol,” anyway?
