Tonight's American Idol was supposed to be all about the new winner — did you agree with America's choice? Instead we were so entertained by all the performances that it's hard to pinpoint a favorite moment. Usually the two hour banter is painful leading up to the final tally which broke over 100 million votes but this year we couldn't get enough of Queen, Steve Martin, Lionel Richie, Cyndi Lauper and even Ryan's awards. From Kara showing up Bikini Girl to annoying Tatiana, tell us what was your favorite part of the show?

yeah i just thought it was hilarious to watch bikini girl trying to sing when kara was. she looked so stupid.
2Although I like that Kara have the humor, I didn't like that she stepped down to the bikini lady level.
I mean Kara obviously have something going on, and she don't have to wear bikini to get attention.
The bikini girl obviously needed to flaunt her flesh since she can't sing.
But funny though.
3My favorite moment was when I switched the channel after the "win" - what a disappointment.
4Seeing Kris win was great and the bikini part was hilarious.
I'll tell you the worst part- any performance with Meghan. God she's awful.

10What a show last night! All the performances were awesome! I thought the bikini girl part was hilarious but I actually felt a little bad for her. You could tell she had no idea what was about to happen...*snickers*
11The worst would be win they announced the winner, I'm shocked and heartbroken! Adam is clearly the best! Kris is good but he doesn't hold a candle to Adam! I think everyone anticipated gokey and Adam in the end and when it came up Kris and Adam all of gokeys votes went to Kris, and the fact that the judges jinxed Adam with clearly stating he will win all season people decided to just show the judges who gets the say so. There were a bunch of great moments and performances! I still think Adam will sell more records! Oh and the internet scandal probably didn't help which irritates me that people would do that! Some people still live under a rock who cares if he's gay he's very talented

13The best part was when Bikini Girl took the stage and Ryan said "I'd ask you what's new, but I already know" since she got her boobs done!! HAHAHA. I laughed so hard. Second best part was Keith Urban. Third was turning the tv off after Kris won, stupid stupid America. If it was Canadian Idol, Adam would have won. I think he didn't win because of everyone out there not liking the fact that he is gay.
14I loved the performances and KISS had to of been my favorite. Queen comes in second even though Adam should have been the only one on that song. David Cook was amazing and that song always makes me cry. Keith Urban was great and I really wish Kris the best. One thing is Adam isn't stuck singing that horrible song for months and months. I was following Blake Lewis' twitter all night because he kept taking pictures from the audience. In the end I really wanted it to be Allison and Adam so I wasn't hurting after last night at all. Kris and Adam are probably so relieved now that it's over.

17Well, I had bet my dad that Adam would win. Oops. lol.
Oh, well...I like Kris, he's more my style anyway. And I know Adam will still have plenty of opportunities ahead of him.
And as far as Kara, she's just a showoff. I thought the fact that she felt the need to go up on stage at all, let alone get in a sing-off with bikini girl, was kind of sad.

19totally agree with ali92507 - at least adam doesn't have to sing that bad, bad song...sooo not his style and would be weird alongside his new music...greatest moment for me?? when kris said, this should be adam's win!!! kris is a great guy, humble too...i kind of feel bad for him now, because so many folks, especially those in hollywood and the music industry feel that adam got robbed because he was gay...puts a big damper on kris's win...

22I love that Kris won...people would be furious either way. It was a divisive season. Keith Urban and Kris was the highlight for me, but I have to say that Kara can sing her ass off.
23Oh for goodness sake...I am so tired of people saying Adam didn't win because he is gay. Honestly who cares if he is gay or not. Adam has a particular style, and you either love him or hate him. Some people can't stand the high pitched screaming, and others love it. He has talent, but he is definitely more broadway, as a rocker he does seem a bit delicate...Kris on the other hand is talented as well, and definitely fits in to the more typical artist. I resent anyone saying "America" is stupid, or got it wrong for Adam not winning because he is gay...nothing to do with it.

I never bashed Kris he's a talented guy but he is clearly not as talented as Adam, and I think a lot of the votes came from not voting for Kris but voting against Adam for being gay let's just see who sells the most records! anyone could sing a Kris song but could anyone sing an Adam song? I think not he's in his own category like prince. This man will be iconic!
25I loved the performances! Rod Stewart singing Maggie May was awesome! Some of the group performances from the AI singers weren't that good though. It was a great show overall.

29I think both guys will make it in their own ways. They both have different styles and fit in different categories. I'm not sure if being gay had anything to do with Adam losing. I think the majority of people prefer pop, and maybe that's why Kris got more votes. Adam is more rock; he has that classic rock vibe. However, Adam does have a better range; he's more alive on stage and has such presence. Either way, they both did great and whether they won or not, they will still get record deals and will make something of themselves.
