Kate Hudson was almost unrecognizable with her new dark hair on the set of The Killer Inside Me in Oklahoma City yesterday. The movie also stars Casey Affleck and Jessica Alba, but this is the first we've seen of the film. Kate's been mixing things up from her typical romantic comedy fare with this film and Nine, and we're looking forward to getting another taste of the Oscar-nominated actress we fell in love with during her Almost Famous days.

1Once upon a time, Jessica Alba and Kate Hudson were actually decent actors. Hopefully this film will show off their acting talents again.
2i definitely prefer her as a blonde but if it's for a role then that makes all the sense in the world. i hope that this is something good for her. she's usually stuck in a particular type of role/movie.

7One of the ways I determine if someone is really a beauty rather than just being pretty while blond is to picture them with short brown hair. Long blond hair is distracting and striking all by itself, so sometimes it's hard to tell.

19this is not a good look for her but i never thought of her as having nice hair in the first place. it always seemed rather stringy and limp and fine to me. this color and style aren't doing her any favors.
