The Lakers may have lost to the Nuggets last night at the Staples Center, but as usual they had bragging rights when it came to their star-studded audience. Tom Cruise was a welcome fresh face in the crowd, bringing his son Connor along with him in a matching outfit. Season regular Leonardo DiCaprio was also there, drinking beer and smiling as Jake Gyllenhaal concentrated on the game elsewhere in the stands. Teri Hatcher and Will Ferrell were animated fans, and even though the Hollywood team lost they have another chance to prove themselves in the Western Conference Championship on Saturday in Denver.

Go Nuggets, I loved that look on Kobe's !@#$%* face when they lost.
1Jack Nicholson is a doll, too bad he roots for that team.
2It is sad for me to root against my hometown Lakers, but I really can't stand Kobe. I cringe when I see kids wearing his jersey. I wonder who is coming out to Denver for game 3... Jack?
3Nice to see Jake without blonde beard.
4Leo is so....yummy
5i don't know how i missed tom when i DID see jack ...oh well. sooo sad
6OK All i have to say is all celebrities are bandwagon jumpers! Half of these people don't give an eff about the Lakers. They go bc its the "cool" celeb thing to do. Just like kaballah, green cars, and a million other things. ugh. Makes me wanna puke. GET A MIND OF YOUR OWN CELEBS!
7jake looks like death. jus sayin.
8Anonymous, a number of celebs are at the game because their PR folks urge them to. I love it when big games go to L. A. and are carried by a big network, that is when the networks trot out their newest stars to promote shows... and maybe give a shout out to the home team. As for the Lakers... Jack and Leo have been hometown fans for a long time.
9Leo looks good.
10He is stressed and drunk a bit here because this was such a close game and they lost!! C'mon Lakers - you cannot lose like this for a home game. Leo will get mad. Like in the one picture with the hand on the leg - he saying "My dogs play better ball than this." He is not looking happy.
Even Tiny Tom (not from L.A. - poser fan) will get upset. He will call the Scientology spaceship and have you blasted to another planet!
We need a big win next week - don't screw up again!
Kia none of the celebrities at the games are real fans, maybe Jack, but you will never see him or anyone travel with this team (that is why I say no true fan especially with their kind of money.) Hell I try and go to all Spurs games here at home and some in Houston and a very few in Dallas (hate the Mavericks but not as much as the Lakers who I hate the most as a team.)
11I agree with pink.
12Connor Cruise is such a handsome young man
13Pink- Leo and Jack have been spied at games in other cities watching the lakers. I will refrain from commenting on the rest of them. (mom says say nice or nothing)
And Damn Leo looks good!
14They have bragging rights because they have fair weather celebrity fans? Yay... What about the Nuggets or Lakers having bragging rights for being good teams?
15I can't stand Denver's arrogance. Face it, guys: they got lucky in this game. NEITHER team played well.
I'm a Pistons fan so of course I don't like the Lakers, but I just love Pau Gasol. He's the Derek Jeter of the NBA; even if you hate the Lakers, you gotta love that guy 'cause he's such a class act. And, he gets a lot of unfair criticism, which I also think happens to Jeter.
16Love Leo's smile.
Go Lakers !
17mrsld I have never and I watch basketball a lot (my fiance is a sports fanatic) have seen any fan on road games. Other than Eva Ratwhoria (for Tony Parker's games.) But that maybe they have and I've just missed them.
18NotMeAnymore are the Nuggets arrogant? I thought they were pretty humble, I'm not a band wagoner because I am a true Spurs fan, but I will root for any team going against the Lakers hell I even rooted for the Celtics (cannot stand Kevin Garnett, Raja Rondo, and Ray Allen but I have a small spot for Chris Paul.)
I am rooting for the Nuggets to take the Western Conference and I am uncertain on the Eastern Conference as crazy as this sounds I am going for the Eastern team may it be the Cavaliers or the Magic, but deep down inside I am going for the Cavaliers, to many old Spurs affiliation to root against them.
19Pink- I assure you that Leo has been at other games, not in LA. I know this may come as a shock, but I am a HUGE Leo fan. So I am positive that I have seen pictures of him at other venues watching the Lakers. He was definitely at least one of the Boston v. Lakers games in Boston for the playoffs last year. Definitely Knicks games...
20Oh and a Nets game also! I can dig up old pics if you want.
21If you want you don't need to burden yourself, I trust you. I was just saying I personally have not seen any, and I watch a lot of basketball. Dammit we need a SPORTSSUGAR.
22I've seen plenty of pics of DiCaprio at Lakers games; everybody knows he's a genuine fan of them.
Pink, I'm rooting for (gag) L.A. only 'cause I wanna see them get beat by LeBron. That is, if LeBron's team can make it past the Magic!
23I felt that way too NotMe, but I wouldn't be a true Spurs fan to ever under any circumstance root for the Lakers.
24Pink- We definitely need a Sportsugar!
And I am rooting for LA for two reasons. 1)I too want to see Kobe get schooled by LeBron. 2)I get to see more pics of Leo at games. (I know I should be embarassed to admit that, but I am who I am !)
Did either of you see the quote by Jerry West? He states that eventhough he should be loyal to Kobe because he brought him to LA. He thinks that Lebron is a superior player. Can you say "ouch!"
25I hear that. I still feel disloyal to my Pistons :)~
26Pistons I don't think there is anything positive I can say about that team, other than I'm sure the Nuggets are glad they have Chauncey Billups.
27mrsld I don't pay much attention to any commentator during any Laker game, they are a bunch of kiss asses to them. The only commentator that I can stomach is Charles Barkley because he says it like it is and he calls out true talent and bullsh*t when its deserved. Oh course I love Sean Elliot commentating and when Avery Johnson commentated.
28Jack Nicholson looks like he's gonna explode. John Cena is gigantic or it seems so. Connor Cruise is handsome and lol at Teri Hatcher, it looks almost a Susan-action XD
29Jerry West is not a commentator, just but rather a career long laker and big in their management for YEARS.
30But I do agree that the commentators in general are not any good. Charles Barkley is just a riot.
LOL that just goes to show I know or care for nothing that involves the Lakers.
31i like leo´s necklace... do you know something about it?
32I am so incredibly happy the Nuggets pulled out a win!
And not to start a fight, but I don't think luck had anything to do with last night's game. I'm not saying this just because the Nuggs are my team or because I hate the Lakers but I think as a whole, the Nuggets are a better team. The Lakers have Kobe and Gasol is decent at best. The Nuggets deserve this win. I also don't think they are arrogant at all. They have no reason to be. After all, this is their first playoff appearance in over twenty years. GO NUGGS!
33Normez I think the Nuggets deserve it too. Hey the Spurs are out so I could careless who wins at this point as long as it is not the Lakers.
34Oh and I think Melo, LeBron, and Dwight deserve to be where they are at.
35Oh and one last thing all three that I just mentioned all have first names as last names, lol.
36It's a little dorky that Conner is dressed like his dad... reminds me of some of my own family. Conner is growing up before our eyes though!
37I couldn't disagree more. The Lakers were remarkably lucky in game one, because they were outplayed in every aspect and yet still won.
The Nuggets were lucky (not remarkably) because both teams were sloppy in game two. They simply ended with more points.
Neither team has dominated the other yet and managed to finish the job.
38Not that I care or follow but the playoffs are definitely big here and good for the city.
39wow~so happy to see Leo smile.
40DID HE USE HAIR SPRAY TO HIS HAIR, TOM HAIR SEEN SO STIFF LOL
