Katie Holmes headed to Washington DC over the weekend to take the stage with Diane Wiest, her All My Sons costar, at a special Memorial Day concert. After a quick run-through on Saturday afternoon in her floral shirt, Katie put on a navy blue top to
act out a scene later in the evening. She opened up about her participation in the event,

Why does Tom Freak make her dress like she is in her forties? She is so dowdy (if thats a word). She could pass for a 45-50 year old woman.Helen Mirren (if that is the name if the lady who plays the Queen) could put her to shame. Just because you act immature doesn't mean it's o.k to compensate by looking overly mature. We still know what's up.
