Tom Cruise, Katie Holmes and their son Connor were all dressed up to head into the Capital in Washington DC on Memorial Day. The night before, Katie took the stage for a special PBS tribute to American soldiers. The family's weekend of fun also included an exciting trip for Suri and Connor to the Smithsonian National Air and Space Museum. The Cruises are used to exploring various cities by now and they'll have a whole new country to check out when they move to Australia for Katie's movie this Summer.

can't say that it's my favorite look for katie but it's nice that she got to perform. i hope that they had a great time at the museum (where's isabella all the time) and i hope that they have an even better time in Aussie land

12I see Katie is still dressing like she's elderly while Tom leads her around like an invalid. And Connor looks like a much more age-appropriate (not to mention better looking) boyfriend. Though I do like Tom's sporty heel lifts.
Of course Scientology's new recruit efforts are aimed at the soldiers returning home so no great suprise that we're suddenly seeing Tom and Katie spending time and attending events in Washington.
13I'm glad we don't see pictures of these kids with Nicole. It means that maybe they'll have a relative amount of privacy compared to their little sister. Suri doesn't have a chance.

15I think the story should be about how on a day that celebrates the men and woman who gave their lives for this country's freedom... Tom Cruise has all the commoners removed and/or restricted from entering national historic places of interest in our country's capitol so he and his entourage could have private tours and viewings.
