Jessica Simpson is gearing up for a return to TV, this time with a reality show inspired by her issues battling with her weight in the public eye. The program, which would supposedly be called The Price of Beauty, intends to explore standards of beauty for women as Jessica and a friend travel the globe. Jess knows a thing or two about the small screen after the success of Newlyweds, and she's free to explore new projects now that she's no longer on her country label. Jess probably has some insight on this topic to share after her recent experiences, so tell us — do you think Jessica's new TV show is one to see or skip?

another sad attempt to stay in the limelight. def. skipping. i dont need to waste my precious time watching her waste her brain again
1i'm not sure that i'm too excited about this one. i might check it out when there's nothing else on but otherwise i'll have to pass.
2im not picky with reality shows, i watch everything, i find them entertaining
3i have to admit while i wouldn't put it on series link....
4if it was on i'd probably watch it
i find myself getting into horrendously bad tv programmes at times
anything reality.... or made for tv movies
You know what? Although a large majority of us say we wont watch, you know we all will. We'll be tuning in to see what she wears, how she looks, what they talk about, yadda yadda yadda.
Although this is prolly just be another attempt to try and stay relevant - it might just work unfortunately.
5Wow is she seriously still draging out this "weight issue" thing?! Her gaining a bunch of weight is apperently the best that has happened to her career in years!
6See it. Maybe she will grant us with another wise statement like "tuna is the chicken of the sea".
7honestly, if it was on at a day/time when I wasn't watching anything else, I think I might tune in. I like the idea behind the show. Never watched Newlyweds and I'm not the biggest Jessica fan, but this could be interesting.
8Like an annoying gnat, she just won't go away.
9Wow, as if there wasn't enough reality garbage on tv...
10Well, if that doesn't make me
Is she broke? Maybe Papa Joe needs a new car, house...whatever!
11I'd probably watch something like that if somebody else was hostingi t
12I love reality TV, so I would probably watch just as long as it don't interfere with my other shows.
13I may see it. I think Jessica is smart to capitalize on this. She's always done this.
14i think the premise of the show is actually very interesting... not too happy with the fact that jessica is going to be the host or star of the show, but i'll probably watch it anyway
15All the good shows are on hiatus, so I'd probably tune in. That's not saying much though....I've also been known to watch an episode or two of "Keeping up with the Kardashians". I don't use tv to educate myself....I leave that to books.
16trying to further her career as a result of her gaining weight? geez...she is so grabbing straws.
17If she is so serious about country music -- why isn't she busting her butt trying to get signed by another label? CM was supposed to be 'her home' - so what the heck, Jess? I thought she had potential in that genre - with some more training and work.
But...instead she chooses more reality tv. How sad. I hate 99% of RTV - so I won't be tuning in.
18I might check it out...
19I would watch her read instructions, as long as she looks good. I love her!!
20Doesn't anyone think this appears similar to the show Vanessa Minillo hosted that judged models on their inner beauty? I mean it doesn't sound like there will be contestants, but the premise sounds like the same type of thing.
I would hope this time around she doesn't act like such a ditz. She must be more substantive than how she was portrayed in Newlyweds, right? That type of behavior does a disservice to women as well.
21I'll watch it only if I get to see her breast in all of their nekkid glory!
22I knew this would happen! I made a bet with a friend (ooh! I'd better collect!) that Joe Simpson was behind the whole "Jessica Is Fat" thing from the start. He's a creep who has been known to take paparazzi-esque pictures of both his daughters, then sell them. This is exactly what he would do. Her CD tanked, her movies tanked... let's see, how can I get my kid on the covers of People, US Weekly and Vanity Fair? (Vanity Freaking Fair!) Start a rumor. The man is an evil genius. I bet this show has been in the works for months. If it actually airs, don't watch it. This country has allowed crap to be art for too long.
