Mandy Moore flashed a huge smile as she took the microphone to perform at Amoeba Music in LA yesterday. She's talked about doing something different with her newest album, especially since she's grown a lot since her early days as a pop star. Getting married was also a big stepping stone toward adulthood, and Mandy talked about her new marriage to Ryan Adams, saying, "It still feels not entirely real. Things are wonderful, and there's such a peaceful settledness about it. But sometimes I can't wrap my head around it. It seems bizarre but really cool at the same time, like, 'Wow — I did that!'" Mandy's new album Amanda Leigh was released yesterday, and it sounds she's got plenty of things to smile about these days.

I like her, she seems pretty normal. I always thought it was sad that she felt the need to be really self- deprecating in interviews because she was part of the bubblegum pop scene. I read at least two where she was like, I can't sing, I can't act, I'm really mediocre...
1I think she's gifted, and survived tween stardom (more than we can say for a lot of idols produced in the late 90's).
Love her hair, I think I need some more layers.
2I have so much respect for Mandy. She has always had herself together and I know that will never change. Mandy never felt the need to strip down to her underwear and shake her ass. While I am a fan of Christina Aguilera sometimes I wasn't thrilled with her outfit choices. Kudos to Mandy for always keeping it real. I am so glad she is happy with her marriage and her career.
3well it's nice that she's moving away from 'mandy' and looking forward to being more mature. she's one of those singers that we've followed for ages and it's nice to see that she's truly growing up.

6I don't know why I find her completely annoying, I'm sure she is probably the nicest person, no offense to the people that like her.
7I find her sweet and cute. I love her voice, and her album is pretty great. It's very mellow with some cool lyrics. It's one of those driving albums, you know? It's like it was made to be played while cruising down Laurel Canyon, or something, because it creates such a great laid-back mood.
8Shes super cute, don't like the outfit, but she seems like an extremely down to earth/grounded person and I think that's awesome considering the success she had when she was younger!

9Even with her feeling forced into a stupid marriage to prove herself as a woman and having her lose all of her fanbase for it, I will always remain a fan of hers, or at least an admirer of her past achievements. I hope her new CD does well.
10considering how her 90's-pop peers have turned out.....i'd say mandy definitely has came out on top. she really is a great role model. i was reading an article on People.com where she's talking about loving her curves, etc. i've never been a huge fan of her acting (because i said so is a guilty pleasure!) i do like her voice and music, and i want to check out this album.

13i love mandy moore. i think shes different from every celeb out there. She's sweet,kind, gentle loving person and i think she chooses the right things for her to make her happy. she doesnt put herself out there which i love about her. i think if you people have nothing to nice to say about her should get off here. i loved her movie A Walk To Remember. It was such a beautiful movie and showed that shes good at movies like that. she has alot of talent and a beautiful voice:] LOVE YOU MANDYY
