Lauren Conrad showed off her California girl style as she posed in various LWDs for a Cosmopolitan photo shoot. Her final episode of The Hills airs on Sunday, and many of you are still interested in her last days on the show. Lauren opened up about her frustrations with producers concerning Heidi, and talked about her excitement for the future. Here's more:
- On The Hills producers pushing her and Heidi back together in season five: "What they didn't get is that I didn't want to fight with her anymore. It's hard to look at somebody who used to be your best friend and say, 'We can't be friends. Too much has happened.' I'm trying to move on, but they won't let me. And when someone keeps pushing you into the same position well . . . you get upset."
- On Kyle Howard: "I feel sexiest with him when I'm in sweatpants and no make-up. "
- On life after the show: "I've always had another season to look forward to, but now life is a little more unplanned. It's really exciting."
It's not surprising that LC is looking forward to a more private life, and we continue to see how happy she is with Kyle without any manufactured drama from MTV.

1Kudos to Lauren for being done with The Hills. The producers shouldn't have forced her into a reconciliation with Heidi that was wrong. I stopped watching because a lot of the situations were getting old to me. I can't wait to see Lauren has coming up next besides her book and her clothing line at Kohls. I know there are going to be so many haters coming this way though, but Lauren you are doing what is best for you.

10as much as I'm sad to see her go (I practically grew with her since we graduated from hs the same year) I think it will be great for Lauren personally and professionally. This is fake- they made her make up with Heidi and that half assed apology from Spencer the other night-then he tries going on damage control by saying that he faked the apology and non of it was true. He just doesn't want to look like an ass for starting such a horrible rumor.
14Excuse me, care, she *chose* to deal with the script as long as it made her money and fame. Now she decides to let the facade fade? What a joke. I give her credit for extending her 15 min of fame to 45 min, but calling MTV out? If it wasn't for MTV she would have to get a real job like the rest of us. The Hills is good escapist fun, but she's no idol.

19I've always liked her, and she looks great here. As much as I'll miss her on the Hills, I think she's above it so it's good she's moving on.
20It's pathetic that people would watch this and call it reality when it's scripted. How sad does your life have to be to watch the fake life of someone else?
21I don't think that Lauren is still at odds with Kristen and if she is, she is certainly taken the high road. Some people are just not meant to be friends there is nothing wrong with that. At least Lauren has enough sense not to pretend anymore.

22lauren is only 1 year younger than me, so i also feel that i've grown up with her. if you were a 16 yr old girl and MTV approached you to do a reality show, why in the world would you turn it down??? i know i wouldn't!!
she seems to know the Hills has turned to complete crap and she is over it. she has always been the one with her head on straight, IMO. i'm glad she's found other things and a great guy.
23well it's all VERY obvious now that the show is somewhat scripted so i'm not surprised that she feels that way about the producers and heidi. i just hope that she moves onto bigger and better things. she's young and deserves it.
24I apologize if this has already been discussed, but did anyone see Spencer and Heidi on Regis & Kelly the other day? Spencer was even more obnoxious than ever (yes, it's possible). It was obvious that Kelly didn't care much for them. Jimmy Kimmel was sitting in for Regis and he was hilarious.
25Can someone please tell me who is the designer for that white dress that Lauren is wearing on the cover of cosmo???? Where can I get it???
