Kris Allen was crowned the winner of American Idol last week, but at the time most of your disagreed with the results and the media are still questioning his victory over Adam Lambert. The New York Times reported that AT&T hooked up Kris's fans with free cell phones and text messaging at various Idol parties, though FOX has already denied that the voting was skewed. Other sources claim that it wasn't a close race since Danny Gokey's fans supported Kris in the finals. There are rumors of rigged voting every year but there didn't seem to be hard feelings when Kris and Adam performed together on The Today Show this morning. So tell us — do you still care about the Idol conspiracy theories?

1It's not like I'm freaking out about it, but it wouldn't surprise me if this was rigged. Don't the runner ups usually become more popular than the winners anyways?

3I'm over it but I think Adam is clearly more talented, don't get me wrong Kris is talented too but not as good as Adam, but I think it worked out for the better because Adam doesn't have to be limited to a certain song or type of music. He is going to be successful no matter what! Same goes for Kris! Love them both, they seem like very good guys.
4I have to admit I was kind of surprised. (Not that I even watched but just when I turned on the news the next morning.) It's been my theory that many are inclined to vote for the person they think "needs" their help...which might explain these final results.
5I like them both, both were accidentally revealed to be the downloads on iTunes during the show, so them as the top two was no surprise, and with Danny gone, it made the most sense that his votes went to someone with similar music, aka Kris. Move on gets my overwhelming vote.... If it was rigged, wouldn't they have gone with the supposed front-runner anyway?

7Our daily paper wrote, about a month ago, of the church vote...and how they hoped it wouldn't influence AI voting as the past 2 Repub elections had been influenced. Don't blame me! This is what they wrote. And so, in a way, by Kris winning, it *does* point out that the regular churchgoer wins over the more satanic one. Yes, Danny was a churchy type too and lost. I think all 4 at the top were great, but clearly Adam was more talented...but not what the public wanted.

14The only runner up to have a bigger career than the winner was Clay Aiken. Forgive any spelling errors, but Justin Guarini, Dianna DiGarmo, Bo Bice, Catherine McPhee, Blake Lewis, David Archuleta - they're not doing much of anything these days.

16I am happy that Kris won. I'm not saying I hated Adam though. They are both really talented. but I can already tell you Adam is gonna end up being more famous than Kris. They will both get a record deal so I keep telling Adam Lambert fans, Adam willstill be famous so build a bridge and get over it!

18the real question is with paula abdul. people thought kris's votes were rigged 'cuz of kris fans' at&t cell phones, but the real weirdness was all these rumors about paula abdul leaving. THAT WOULD BE SO STUPID! She's one of the judges and she's done a great job. all three of 'em have, like them or not. they all bring their own personality and that is what makes am. idol so classic.
19it would be stupid if paula left. it would just be stupid and sad she's so awesome to watch. she better not be leaving, it would just be so dumb for them to let her leave.
20still fuming and annoyed at the rumors about Paula leaving. the judges are part of the show just like the singers. i can't wait to see there reaction when somebody sings and they give their compliments and feelings and criticisms. they all do it different and when they disagree with each other that's when it really starts to heat up. paula is the best part of that whole thing. why would she want to leave? she better not be leaving.

22As you can tell from my name that I used, I love Adam Lambert and I wanted him to win. Kris is really talented though and he deserved to win as much as Adam. People need to move on. Adam is still going to be a major star and have a huge career.
