The best part was the Cohen/Eminem thing. The show might as well have been called TWILIGHT WINS EVERYTHING. Because thats what happened. Twilight owes all its success to Rob otherwise I don't people would give that much of a sh*t. I really hated the outcome of the awards. Whatever. I mean the travesty of who won. The second Ashley Tisdale won I knew this night would go right to he11 and it did. Worst award show ever.

I saw that Kristen doesn't feel good in front of an audience ... Every speech was quite akward. She wasn't feeling comfortable.

I didn't watch the awards cuz I don't really care about them but I just saw the Emminem/Bruno thing, that was hilarious. Anyways the winners here are based on popularity mostly. I think most people were expecting Twilight to win most of the awards and I am not surprised about Zac Effron and Ashley Tisdale's wins either. These are the new "it" stars now. The are very popular among teens and kids. And what can we say about Rob, he is basically the most popular actor in HW right now.

The majority of the votes for MTV I think at 14 years old so that why it was heavy on the Twilight and HSM stuff. It one step above the Kids Choice Awards.

People do realize this is the MTV awards and NOT the Oscar's, right? That every girl/mom from the age of 4-89 with access to a computer could vote, right? So why are people so surprise and disgusted that Twilight won? Again, this is the MTV Awards. MTV, the same channel that has shows dedicated to Paris Hilton and Tila Tequila. And Kristen was awkward but she's ALWAYS awkward, can't a person be shy and awkward without automatically being labeled a b*tch.

i think twilight deserved the awards. i mean they did a great job. i also saw the movie before i read the books and i noticed while reading that expressing these tense feelings of bella and edward must be hard to show in a movie and fascinate the audience.. of course its a big advantage if the cast of a movie gets so famous that it wins so many awards -thats natural. but i have to say that i am very impressed by the main actors that they did not loose themselves in that big hype around them - i mean they could have become selfish and arrogant just because they got such a big fan community and such a big success- but instead of that, they kept their personality very controlled and became kind of intimidated because of that success. that behaviour even deserves a award!
and i have to add, that twilight is thousand times better than hsm so better twilight wins all these awards than hsm, right?

While the awards were hilarious, I thought that it was way too profane. It just made the show crude and it was completely unecessary.
MTV didn't even put a parental warning that there would be adult language and adult situations which they easily could have done.

Kind of agree and disagree at the same time. Eminem's never gone to the extent of violating someone's personal space like that. I mean I'd be pissed if someone's hair butt landed in my face BUT it was just great for once to see everyone laughing at Eminem. When he made his comeback I thought he'd be way past poking fun at people.... it's sooo old. I'm just glad for once he was the uncomfortable one in the room.

Eminem can dish it but can't take it? He doesn't wan't someone's genitalia is his face! And please don't bring up that video called "My bum is your lips" or whatever it was called. Eminem was smart enough to put PANTS and plastic in that spoof. Cohen decided to not wear anything at all.

I was a huge fan of the twilight books but literally laughed all throughout the movie. It was deserving of a razzie not any acting accolades..but just a sign of the times I guess.

At first I blamed it on the budget they had to work with (for the acting, pancake makeup, my little pony sparkle, vampire running scenes, etc) but then they showed the trailer for New Moon and the wolf CGI doesn't look much better. Just pathetic. Next time pay actors less up front and more with the back end payout and put more into the special effects.. any more shots of Edward running ala Dash (the Incredibles) and I will stick a fork in the Twilight movies.

At Sunday's MTV Movie Awards in LA, viewers were shocked when Sacha Baron Cohen landed nearly butt-naked on rapper Eminem's face. A shocked Eminem then cursed and stormed out of the theater.

But an MTV insider has told Life & Style that producer Mark Burnett cleared the prank with the rapper beforehand. However, Eminem wasn't aware of exactly how naked Sacha would be when he agreed to do it!

A second insider also confirms that Eminem was actually Burnett's second choice. The first? Heiress Paris Hilton, who, luckily for her, declined to participate (probably because she was on a date with boyfriend Doug Reinhardt!). "Paris is quite happy she turned down the offer," the insider tells Life & Style.

Ok, I am a TWILIGHTER!! I love the books, movie(s) and can't wait for the next anything. And I don't know who the "bruno" guy is, but he is ok in my book, anyone that can make eminem leave is one of my heroes, hate eminem, of course, since i am twice Rob's age, and half Edward's age, i don't like the rappers.
