Rihanna Lands in LA and Gears Up to Testify
Rihanna touched down at LAX Sunday with a sleek new hairstyle. A few weeks from now, she has more California obligations, when she may be called to the stand to testify at Chris Brown's June 22 hearing. Photos of Rih and Chris from happier times were recently leaked, though it's unclear who gave them to the press. Rihanna didn't seem to be sweating their release, though, as she held her head high at the airport ahead of her big day in court.

6i'm sure that she's just thrilled about the potential of having to testify. i kind of just with that this would all just go away. it's been in the new for so long and i feel like it's just one of those horrible things that'll fade into the background.
7Wow, Ilanac, that's a good attitude. Yes, domestic violence is just a horrible thing that we should allow to fade into the background. What Chris (allegedly) did was CRIMINAL. Domestic violence is a crime.
I cannot believe that any woman today thinks that DVs should "fade into the background"
8I hope she testifies. I want people to see some consequences of domestic violence. Maybe then we won't have people who just dismiss it in hopes it "fades into the background."
9While it's not fair to expect Rihanna to be an example to the abused in addition to dealing with the ramifications of abuse, I do wish she had spoken out more.
