Although I think she is an amazing entertainer I do not see her as that powerful. I think she still has a lot to prove: she is fantastic on a stage, but personality wise she is too..... (dare I say)..... bland.

Brad, Angelina and Jennifer are on the top ten because of the insane triangle that the tabloids are so obsess about. If we look at the top ten these three have the lowest salaries. They have the power to sell tabloids but that's about it (if we can call that "power"). Anyway, Angelina was on top this year because of the birth of her twins and of course for selling her baby pics but Oprah is always going to be more powerful than Angelina and most celebs in Hollywood. Oprah doesn't have to be in a high profile relationship to be on the top five (as she usually has been for many years). However, the most powerful person on that list is Obama and everybody knows this.

When will people realize that Angelina is nothing more than a media-savvy famewh*re? Yes she's a humanitarian, yes she donates a lot of her money. But so do Oprah and hundreds of other multimillionaires. The second she and Brad break up, or she finds herself at the center of a scandal, her saintliness will dissipate, her fame will diminish, and she'll be just another Hollywood actress. Can you say the same for Oprah?

Next year it can be Rob Patterson and Paris Hilton. They

Hello... did you see election day around the world?!! Not only Americans care about Obama, EVERYONE around the world does!! I agree that him not being #1 is a joke. I don't know when was the last time someone united many hopes and dreams around the world as Obama did. Delivering them is another story, but starting from a rural area or an urban slum in a 4th world country to millionaires around the world, Obama has certainly got them (at least many of them!)

She is there because of her relationship with brad. All three (Brad, Jolie and Aniston) are there because the media won't let go about Brad's divorce and his affair with Angelina. They would never be as famous if not for that.
How many times was Angelina even on that list before Brad? Oprah, Tyger Woods etc. are there every year, they are much more powerful. Unless she pops out another kid this year she won't even be on the top ten next year.
