Summery white was the color of choice for both Mariah Carey and Michelle Williams at the Fresh Air Fund's Salute to American Heroes event in NYC last night. Mariah arrived on the arm of her husband Nick Cannon, while Michelle was rolling solo as Spike Jonze finishes work on Where the Wild Things Are over in London. Michelle rightfully didn't look bothered by the unkind words recently uttered by the former show runner of Dawson's Creek as she celebrated a charitable evening with friends.

I can't quite figure out if Michelle put a top under her one-strap dress or if that's part of the dress. Either way, the outfit is better without it.

1) Michelle is an Oscar nominated actress. She's more legit than Kristen Stewart or any of them.

15Mariah is always trying so hard to look thinner in photos. Ie: Sticking out her arm, holding in her stomach, leaning forward... she looks so tense and unnatural.
