Reese Witherspoon and Jake Gyllenhaal spent their weekend in NYC and hit the stores around SoHo yesterday afternoon. They love to do their shopping together on the East Coast, and Reese had a big smile on her face as she rang up her purchases at the register. Jake has a reason to beam now that he's lined up another starring role with his Brokeback Mountain costar Anne Hathaway.

5I'll bet Reese thinks she is being edgy with that hat, but girl it looks ridiculous on you. The dress is OK. Why is she holding onto the front? A stain from lunch? I know she is a short woman, but standing next to Jake she looks like the amazing shrinking woman. Jake is always effortlessly cute.

7Yeah, there doesn't seem to be much spark between them. The body language always looks like two friends hanging out. I don't like anything about Reese's outfit though, I think it's all wrong for her.
8When you see Reese without Jake she's dressed as her usual boring soccer mom self. When you see the photo ops of Reese with Jake she tries to dress cool with her fedora. Either way she's bland.
9I'm so over these two....I really am! I used to like Reese, but now thats ALL I SEE EVERYWHERE!!!! The movie is not even out yet! Why the obsession with her????? Anyhoo.....the hat looks retarded with that dress...the dress COULD be cute if worn differently! Still not quite sure of the obsession here.....guess I'll never know! My lover loves her too....and still will not give me the reason WHY so obsessed?!?!?!

me girl from little switzerland spent 6 days in
NYC and bumped into them in a shop in soho...my pics turned out a bit more blurry...I have only one acceptable from Jake.... He REALLY is adorable live and it was such a cool shop....but they
had scarve-like blouses for about 300 dollars so we left pretty fast
