Someone made a comment the other day that Jen always wears those tennis shoes everywhere.... yeah, she needs to get herself some cute Pumas or something. Or rain galoshes or flats or flip-flops or sandals or SOMETHING other than those huge running shoes.

that's true, even though she's very casual (which is good) she can get some funky little pumas...she wears the generic sneakers you find at Model's

They aren't generic sneakers, they are running shoes, for running. And she wears them everywhere, along with the same sloppy jeans. I assume she is trying to be low key so that her picture doesn't get taken as much, but it doesn't seem to be working. The pictures are boring as hell, but they keep selling.

I think she's dressed fine. Clearly, she's in Mommy-mode right now (as opposed to being Jennifer Garner on the red carpet, and hence, dressed glamorously). She could wear whatever is practical to being a hands-on Mom.

I agree that she should wear what makes her comfortable and that it's none of our business how she chooses to dress in her personal life. But at the same time, she's a multimillion dollar-earning Hollywood actress who has her picture taken every day. Would it kill her to look, at the very least, put-together?

Hmmm, I'm really torn on this one. The feminist in me wants to applaud Jen for wearing whatever she wants but I can't help but feel that she's trying to prove a point. I mean, just because you're a mum and you want to feel comfortable doesn't mean you have to let yourself go completely.
Yes, Victoria Beckham looks pathetic. She obviously can't leave the house without 3 hours make-up and wardrobe job, but there can be a healthy balance. Afterall, "normal" women manage career, family and a bit of pampering.

Even before Jen was a wife and mom, she always wore training shoes (she is and always have been very active)and just never got into fashion. She once was quoted as saying she wished there was a uniform for everything. She loves getting dressed up for the red carpet events but other than that she doesn't seem to care. She is a very beautiful woman and I think a lot of us want to see her dressed more fashionably..But then, she would really be accused of being a attention seeking famewh*re. I don't there is a fair trade off so I understand her being comfortable and seeing to the happiness and well being of her family.

Violet is so cute and Jen is so gorgeous! However, I have to agree that Jen dresses like crap lately! She really has turned into such a "dowdy" mother.

There's nothing wrong with dressing casual. You can be casual and stylish at the same time. It's like she doesn't care anymore.
