Michael C. Hall got to work filming Dexter in LA yesterday with his on-screen sister and real-life wife Jennifer Carpenter. After a dramatic third season, Dexter has a new target this year — a serial killer played by John Lithgow. With vampires as all the rage these days, Dexter's brand of violence hardly seems noteworthy, though Michael C. Hall still finds a way to set his chilling character apart from all the rest.

1It's weird to see them as a couple, they're so brother/sister in my mind! But I'm SO stoked they're working on it! Can't wait for more Dexter!!
2dexter is a really great show. he hasn't won an award for this role yet has he-only nominated? i think he deserves one before the show completes its course

well dexter is noteworthy because the show is intellegent and is for adults, unlike twatlight.

But everytime I see the girl who plays his sister/his real life wife, all I can think is The Excorsism of Emily Rose!!! I could not wake up to that each morning! But other than that, I like them as a couple.

9what's really funny to me is that my husband always talks about how much he loves dexter because you see miami but that's not the case now is it if they film in LA

12I just began watching this show after some friends talked about how good it was.Now I am a huge fan. I love the moralistic/psychological/nature vs. nurture/good vs. evil/ vigilante/let the legal system do it's job type of complexities that are presented. It is amazing that such a compassionately evil serial killer is portrayed so well by J.C.H. He is a brilliant actor, as is the rest of the outstanding cast. I wish he and his new wife happiness and success. But I do hate looking at her sometimes because she is so thin. Is she looks that way in magazines and on film, she must really look skeletal in person. Although she is an amazing actress, it is just uncomfortable looking at her. I appreciate the healthy figures on Rita and Lt. LaGuardia. They have curves that look feminine and natural. With Lt. L, I appreciate how her no nonsense character has been evolving over the seasons. At first I thought she would be the typical B**** type of always having to be in control types of female characters that are so typical in Hollywood, yet she has compassion, love, and loyalty going on as well. She is a great Latina actress and I hope to see more of her. But it is really a brilliant show. Congrats to the cast.
