Sienna Miller brought her sultry smile to the cover of July's Vogue. It's been almost two years since she was last on the front of the magazine, and this time she chatted all about her blockbuster GI Joe as well as her upcoming stint on Broadway in After Miss Julie. Sienna also touched on her always controversial love life, opening up about both Jude Law and Balthazar Getty. Here's more:
- On Jude Law and his affair with the nanny: "It's dangerous to bring this up. I talked about him in an interview not long ago, saying that I still love him, and he was like, 'Please stop talking about it.' . . . That was a very pivotal time in my life, and I’m happy saying that. It’s a private moment when you get your heart broken for the first time, and that was the absolute antithesis of private. It couldn’t have been more public! I had people on the street being like, ‘ ’Ang in there, loov!’ and all you want to do is crawl into a cave and weep for a week."
- On a friend turning her on to therapy: "She took me out to lunch — funnily enough to a restaurant called Balthazar, which I thought was hilarious, but she never commented on the irony of that — and she said, 'You've been through hell, and you need to talk about it with someone.' I got to the point where I was doing things that I didn't necessarily think I was capable of as a person. And I wanted to be conscious of my actions. I think I was really naive and trusting and thinking that if you are true to yourself, that's enough, that's the best way to be. But actually, it's important to become more conscious."
- On her love life: “I’ve actually never been taken on a date in my whole life. I have never had a one-night stand. I’m a real relationship person — contrary to public perception. I’m either in one or I’m not. I get kind of emotionally involved very quickly, and I’m not going to spend time with someone unless I love them. But it’s not hard for me to fall in love.”
Sienna seems to have grown a lot since her exploits last Summer, and her PR efforts just might translate into a good showing when her movie hits screens in August.

He's moved on to better things, and she's stuck in a time warp. It's quite obvious that she's deflecting attention from Gettygate, as in the whole article she mentions Jude 12 times, and Getty all of once.
5Advice to Sienna: If you want to be known for your acting and not your personal life, then quit whining about your personal life, quit blaming other people for your problems, and start doing some decent acting. No big secret, all the real serious actors do it.

She come across well in the interview and i think she gets judged far to much. Anyway she looks beautiful in the pictures and i wish her well for the future.

She's talked about all of this before. It's nothing new except her needing to whitewash Gettygate, and she's using Jude to minimize that. That's pretty low. Come on, she could mention Johnny Lee and Jude without going back to that crap. So to me, she is still the same selfish opportunist who steps on people to get what she needs. I don't see her talking about the people she has hurt, she only talks about how she's been hurt (again, I might add). What's sad is that she has nothing more substantial to fill that space then to rehash the same old same old...she wouldn't have to do that if she was racking up any major successes.
So whatever. No biggie, it's just this does nothing to change my opinion of her, and I've stated the reasons why. Feel free to gush all you want.

Um, well, people express strong opinions all the time, good and bad. This is not a new concept just because we're on a Sienna thread LOL. I challenge her choice of topic in this interview, but that doesn't make my opinion any more passionate than someone gushing about how pretty she is. I'm just providing more detailed reasons for my opinion. I personally think she's an ugly person on the inside because of how she conducts herself. I feel like she is being unfair to Jude because he's done his time over this crap, but she's using it as a "get out of jail free" card again to get everyone's focus off of her own recent blunders and back to a time that was more sympathetic towards her. Her tone is derogatory in a passive/aggressive way, and, in my opinion, she's being very diabolical. Nobody deserves to be done that way, particularly when she knows they choose not to offer their side of the story. I'm sure Jude has stories of his own about her. She herself has hurt people along the way, but do you see them constantly whining about it? Rosetta Getty doesn't even b*tch to the press, and she has every right. Sienna's tactics are cheap and low, and I think it's ugly...that's my opinion, good, bad, and/or ugly, and that's okay. What I'm saying is no more vicious or mean than what she has said.
And mo_ri_ah, now that you mention it, she reminds me of Chelsea Handler in those pictures.
