Lindsay Lohan is currently under investigation by Scotland Yard because $400,000 worth of Dior jewelry was reported missing two days after her Elle photo shoot in London. The actress's rep said she's "happy to cooperate" with police, and Elle UK has released a statement saying they have no reason to believe Lindsay is responsible. She's been accused of stealing more than once before, but is it wrong to assume that she's the culprit in this case?

1Well her past behavior warrants the suspicion as well as her current financial state of being. I assume LL would have given them back by now if she had them considering how embarrassing this is.
2Suspicion is one thing, but just because someone seems more likely to have done it that doesn't mean you should assume they're guilty.

13i kind of think that it's wrong to assume that SHE took it....at least without really going into it..ya know? she may not be the most upstanding person but i'm sure that she's not that stupid to think that she could get away with taking it.

15There are so many people on a shoot. I used to be a stylist's assistant, and I know there are opportunities for many people to run off with stuff. I would doubt it's her, because as the model everyone's watching her all the time. The assistants (at least three on set), security guards, the hair stylist, the make up artist, the art director even the stylist herself all have better opportunity to steal than the model.
16of course is wrong but her past is full of troubles like this one.

If she is guilty, I hope that will put her behind bars more than 8 hours or 2 days lol..Maybe 5 years will do...
18she had asked them at the shoot several times if she could have the jewelry and then they end up missing. in addition to the fur coat she stole remember that roommate who accused her of stealing thousands of dollars of her clothes? this drugged out chick needs help pronto.

20Elle said they don't think she did it. How could she be that stupid?! She can't be THAT broke, either... she's always out shopping!
