In a few weeks The Departed comes out and we can't wait to see this movie. Jack Nicholson, Matt Damon, Marky Mark and Leo. What a cast! Oh and did we mention it's a Scorsese film? Leo sounds a little like Ben Affleck these days when it comes to being private. He said:
"I really feel the most important part of being an actor is to keep his personal life to himself.... The less I know about an actor's daily activities, the less baggage I bring to his performance."
Ever since the Titanic craziness Leo has tried to lay-low. However, his acting and movie roles have gotten better each year. We look forward to checking this film out next month.

It's really been a while since he was seen outside the last time. I am not that excited about the mowie, but it's true he is a good actor.

8I think he is one of the best actors out there. He was awesome in the Tom Hanks movie where he was money forger or something like that...I'm so bad with names of movies, lol. As for his looks...I think he looks so scruffy 99.9 percent of the time that it's hard to tell if he's still handsome or not! I agree with his thoughts on acting and privacy.

12Skye, Cath Me if You Can, the movie was based on a true story. He played Frank Abnagal Jr, I don't know if I spelled that right, but the guy said Leo nailed his character and mannerism to a tee. I think he's a brilliant actor. I bet he nailed down Howard Hughs too in the Aviator. He was nominated for an Oscar for Arnie in Gilbert Grape.

37I totally agree with him. The attention some actors get does affect thier work. I do think Ben Affleck got much more critisizm at that time for what was going on in his life.
GOOD ACTORS do not want free publicity like Jessica Simspon. They just don't need it. If you have nothing to offer but pretty outfits and photo opps, then you will take ANY publicity. Leo is a fine actor, he carries films and is convincing. I do not Martin Scorcese would work with him that often if he was not incredible.

and only rarely does he shed it in the movies so that I can see the attraction. The Aviator was probably one of his best performances and he was robbed by Tommy Lee Jones for the Oscar.

49The reason I find him to be so good, is the fact that I CRIED MY EYES OUT , and still do in the scene in Titanic where he dies. I really beleived they were in love, I really bought the story, and I never cry like a baby at movies. If an actor can touch me ( not literally of course) then, in my eyes, he is incredible.
