Kate Hudson headed over to a dance studio in Santa Monica with her jazz shoes in hand - guess she's taking a break from all the pole dancing. Her classes must be just a fun way to exercise since her next project sounds like a pretty straightforward romantic comedy. Kate has just signed on for Bachelor No. 2, which co-stars Dane Cook. We're not Dane's biggest fans, but nobody can play the adorable leading lady quite like Kate can.

I always wanted to take a pole dancing class! It seems so much fun.
1dane cook is so not funny.
2I don't see Dane's appeal either! I tried to watch his comedy act on HBO and didn't find that funny either. I don't get it. And where'd that top lip go?

6Pole dancing's so much fun - except you get all sorts of bruises everywhere - currently have them on my legs (no biggie) and I've got bruised ribs (there killing me!!)

11Dane Cook has his moments of funny, but honestly i don't see his appeal. and Kate doesn't need to do another romantic comedy- yes i love those, but she's a decent actress when she wants to be.
12Total side note, but anyone else sick of the leggings trend? I just can't stand them at all. Yuck.
13i actually like the legging trend because when i put them on my girls i don't have to worry about them exposing anything on the play ground, lol. other wise, yeah over them.
14I think Kate needs a career intervention, where she has to watch any movie starring Maggie Gyllenhaal. They're both in the mid-20s, mothers, both from famous families and actresses.
But Maggie is doing alot in her career where she is gaining mainstream recognition (Batman movie in 2008, Golden Globe nominations) and already has indie cred (Sherrybaby, Donnie Darko).
