It's finally here! The night we have been waiting for all summer! Grey's Anatomy premieres tonight at 9/8c on ABC! In case you forgot, here is what happened at the end of last season's episode: Izzie risks her career to secure a new heart for Denny. Denny gets the heart, survives the operation and proposes to Izzie. It looks like they are going to live happily every after until Denny suddenly gets a blood clot and dies. Izzie, in her happily ever after Cinderella dress, finds him, freaks out and decides to quit the surgical internship program. Meanwhile, Burke has woken up from his surgery after being shot on his way back from recovering the heart for Denny and finds that he has a shake in the hand he uses for surgery. Meredith invites Finn, her sexy veterinarian, to the Seattle Grace prom and Derek invites his wife, Addison. Meredith and Derek lock eyes across the dance floor and the next thing we know, they are hooking up in an examination room. At the end of the episode we see Meredith standing between Derek and Finn while each waits expectantly for her to choose between them.
So what happens tonight? Will Meredith and Derek finally settle their romance one way or the other? Will Izzie come back to the surgical program? Is Burke done performing heart surgery forever? I can hardly wait to find out!

22I am just happy they have someone as "in" to George as Callie's character is. That boy was in serious need of a tear free lay. And McDreamy needs to get put in his place. Meredith needs to pick someone who is actually healthy for her.. McVet. But we'll see..the season is just beginning so they are going to have to cause some kind of ruckus. Let the games begin.

24Never seen it. I don't like the actress who plays Meredith. I take issue when skinny, funny looking women (like Mrs. Beckham) get the hot guy.
25I agree that McDreamy needs to be put in his place. You don't call the girl a wh*re and then expect her to pick you weeks later. Addison needs to get her self-esteem back and divorce him, even if he doesn't get Meredith. (I would love to see Addy and Alex have some hot hook-ups.) I think Mer will pick McVet, but then after awhile he'll realize that she's still in love with McDreamy. That's my thought, anyway. After all, he's contracted for a few more episodes. As for George and Callie... I love George. I think it's great that Callie's so into him, but he's a little too intense for me. My hope is that they soften her up a little this season. (She's contracted for the whole season, or so I heard.) My favorite couple is Burke and Cristina and I can't wait to see the two of the struggle through his hand issues.

28I HATE callie with George. I also don't really like the way george sometimes treats callie (does anyone remember his line about if callie wanted to be part of the family, she had to forgive meridith?) I just think they're a bad pair.

i agree with you girls, i love how callie loves george, but i wish someone else loved george! haha and she looked like a witch when she was cooking that weird stuff

Meredith needs to tell McDreamy to shove it up his ass. She actually said Pick me choose me love me. And he said thanks but no thanks. Then convinced her they could just be friends and share a dog (stupid and selfish) then called her a wh*re. Then proved it by screwing her in an exam room with his wife and her date waiting a few feet away. And now that she has someone in her life that is good for her and to her.. Oh boo hoo I love you you need you to make a decsion so I can make a descison..GROW SOME BALLS McDREAMY.

36ok so i just read that in canada, CTV aired the second episode of the season last week instead of the premier episode!!! that is nuts. althought i was hoping the same thing happened here (in the US) bc i feel like a lot of details were left out, and that would have cleared some things up. please if you're in canada, please dont spoil the next episode for us!!
