The pictures are not a big deal.lLots of celebs have done worse,but I don't think they're overreacting because she acts like " A good girl" and if she wants to keep that title she can't go doing "bad things" especially not with grown men.I like some of her songs,but as a person and as an actress don't like her that much

I think people overreact because she's a minor. If she was 18 years old (a legal adult), perhaps the photos would be a non-issue.

Personally, I think she likes to ham it up for the camera. She likes the attention, and seeks it the best way she knows how -- being provocative. Admittedly, I find her pictures somewhat vulgar, but that's her chosen behavior.

Honestly, I could not care less. But it's not my opinion that counts as I am not her market. If you want people to buy your marketed image as a squeeky clean teen star suitable for girls to follow and emulate, however, you can't have it both ways. If you want to market it, you've got to live it. If you don't you have to accept that your consumers may move on to someone who does.

Let her be a tactless teenager when she stops marketing to little girls. Until then, remember thy audience.

i agree she is a teenager but shes also a role model that SMALL CHILDREN look up to and she should acknowledge that. I am 17 and think this is wrong for her to take pictures as so because i have younger siblings that love and follow her. They want to be just like her and i wouldn't want them taking pictures like that. If she wants to take pictures like that fine but they should be kept far from the media. Other than that i admire her for her great success and hope the best for her

I think she takes some inappropriate pictures sometimes but people are really hard on her. I've only met a handful of 16-year old kids that had never done something UTTERLY stupid.

I would never, ever pose with my brother in a pic like that of her and Shankman. We just don't stand that close or look at each other like that, and we are really close. It's gross that he took that pic of her in the chair and then posted it on Twitter. I wouldn't like it if my boyfriend posted a pic like that of me.

PARENTS should be their kids role model. That is the problem with society. People expect celebs to raise their kids and show them the right path in life. It is NOT their job. Miley plays a character on TV. That is all. She is just a kid herself and it is NOT her responsibility to raise America's kid's. Perhaps if people would stop using TV and the Disney Channel or Nickelodeon as a babysitter, we would not have such screwed up kids in society. How about a little human interaction and spending TIME with your own kids, teaching about life as a parent and not expectting people like Miley to do it for you.

And I will say this, one thing I appreciate Miley for is being brave enough to be herself despite what people think. She is showing us that even rich and famous people have problems. And rather than change who she is and become fake and plastic like those other Disney tools, she is staying true to herself and grounded, down to earth. Do NOT let what people say Miley EVER rob you of that.

Personally, I have never been fond of Miley Cyrus. The problem is that she is an idol to very young girls. She should set an example and carry her self like a sophisticated young lady. Meanwhile, this is her life...and she's going to do what she wants. She has to make her own mistakes and learn from them. And her parents have to guide her (which I can't say if they are or aren't). And if parents of these young adults are so concerned about them; teach them what's acceptable and what isn't.
