Michael Jackson may have passed away, but he left a lasting imprint on the world of music and way beyond. From his sense of style to his legendary dance moves to his passion for healing the world, Michael left behind a huge legacy. So as we continue to reflect on his life on this sad day, tell us — what were your favorite MJ moments?

Nothing else he ever did compares to his music, and I believe he continues to be an inspiration for a whole generation of musicians..Justin Timberlake is just one example of an MJ rip-off!
1His music!!! I am still in shock
2He was an original, Thriller is hands down one of my favorite videos of all time! He was an amazing entertainer!
3my God! her performances! i loved seing him dancing!
4So many great songs...
5I am still in total shock. We have lost one of the greatest musicians and style icons of the past century. I am reminded of the fragility of life, and that we must live our best lives each and every day.
6His music his ability to dance like no other. What a great performer.
7the music for me
8but his videos and performances were amazing.
And he had such a great style.
uh everything, in my opinion he was a misunderstood guy, but i think one thing everyone can agree on is that he made an impact on us, his music is so soulful, not in a marvin gaye smooth kinda way but in a he touched your soul and made you feel sort of inspired to do better in our own lives, my favourite things about him are his dances im so enchanted by his dance moves they are wicked, his music being so powerful, and his philanthropy, i really think he was a naturally kind soul, and i just think that if he did do those terrible things those two parents said he did a few years ago then he would not of still had billions of followers and the world would not be celebrating his life like we are now. i think he was just an easy target with a mega bank balance. RIP MJ
9To me, it has to be his music. Granted Thriller came out the year before I was born, but I loved it as I grew into music. I remeber dancing with my cousins, each of us trying our hand at the moonwalk, decorating gloves of our own, singing and dancing to the songs as if we were Michael himself.
His music makred many moments of my life and I will forever remember him for that. Watching the Superbowl show with family, seeing the music video Scream while traveling through Europe, Halloween family dance to Thriller.
He will truly be missed.
10his moonwalk!
11My favorite memory of MJ was when I was super young and he performed during 1993 SuperBowl half-time singing "Heal the world" with thousands of children including sons and daughters of soldiers that were in Gulf for Dessert Storm. So touching...
12He could dangle babies over balconies better than anyone I've known. I'm really going to miss that.
13His music, his performances, his philanthropy, and his videos.
14I've been listening to Jackson 5 all day!
15His music, the music videos, and the concert performances. I still remember trying to do the lean forward move from the "smooth criminal" video when I was a kid
16I'm with Frank y Ava: his music, his videos, his performances and his philanthropy!! One thing really amanzing to me is that through his music and unfortunately with his death he has brought people together, and we all share the sadness of losing such an incredible artist. It seems as if the globe has turned into a small vilage where all come together to cry someone who is gone!!
17Bravo Michael Jackson!!!
I'll always remember Michael Jackson as very talented man who shared his bed with young boys.
18His Music! you know how people say music is the universal language... what amazes me is that my parents listened his music, I listened his music, children listened his music. He is an artist of all generations! and he'll continue to be..his songs will always be classics
19Rest In Peace Soldier!!!
20Thanks for the beats and the chills!!!!!
holy smokes - i love OFF THE WALL! I listened to that album nonstop when I was 9 yrs old! Dragged it with me to slumber parties so we could sit around the turntable and sing the songs. I really can't believe he is gone. What a tragedy - two American Icons gone in the same day. My condolences to both the Jackson Family and Farah's Family.
21hands down, his music...the videos were second and I looove that nobody said his style...he couldn't dress for shyt imo...well, maybe on Mars metal shin guards and nut cups are ok lol
22His music and videos for sure. He produced hit singles like no other
23Of course his music inspired me everyday !!!
24But I allways cared of the fact that he has this strong feeling he can change something in this world for everyone!
I 'm never forgetting him, never ...
The music, videos and performances.
25While a lot of his videos and his performances were amazing, his MUSIC is obviously what stands out.
26Might be aging myself here but I will never forget when MJ's Thriller video premiered. I was at the roller rink with my friends and before open skate ended they premiered the video on a large drop screen for us all to watch.
27His moves, and music are iconic!
His music, then his videos.
28His videos are true revolutionary works of art. They set the bar and still today many can't even compare with Michael's videos.
29What can surpass the memory of him saying that sharing your bed with young boys is a normal thing to do.
30Wow, everything. His performances were awe inducing, his videos were really artistic, his music was revolutionary and his personal life was something that kept people watching, even though it was really polemic.
31Gosh...why didn't they have a vote for everything?!?! Michael Jackson, to me, was the brightest diamond on Earth. He made music like no other, he revolutionized the term "video" to tell a story, his performances and dancing skills were fierce and electrifying, and his heart was always worn on his sleeve. He was a great man and he touched so many lives. He will always be remembered as the King of Pop.
32some of you people on here are truly disgusting and harsh two of the comments on here are so out of placed ...... racist asses
33Quite simply... June 25th, 2009... a day that will live in American pop culture infamy!
34I pick videos, because that way you get his brilliant music AND his dancing!!
35LONG LIVE MICHAEL JACKSON!!!!
36it was impossible to pick 1, but i chose his performances. only because this 1 man was able to stand on a huge stage and command respect from his audience, i remember watching his concert when i was younger and michael jackson ruled the stage with his crazy ass dance moves and costumes and stage presence.
he will be truly remembered as a legend and we will continue to talk about him no matter what it is about.
