I think dating someone less famous then him may overwhelm the other person who is just used to a normal life. He may have to date a famous person just because they be more understanding/used to his situation. Although I could totally handle his lifestyle.

Here's the thing, dating someone who isn't in the business could be terribly traumatizing for that person being as he get so much attention from the media that he himself has trouble dealing with it. A person who is in the business would understand more but it would most likely cause even more attention...

Then, you have the crazy Twilight fans who think the world will end if he doesn't date Kristen, or if he dates a girl other than their deluded selves. It seems to be a very touchy subject.

Personally, it may just be because I have so many guy friends that this is my opinion... but he is young, very in demand, and decent looking. I think he should do what he wants, make the most of his popularity if you know what I mean.

Bottom line, I said someone not famous because since he has said he has trouble dealing with the attention it might be more enjoyable for him to have someone who isn't in the public eye to make him feel like a normal guy again.

I voted non-actress; however, whoever it is would need to be very comfortable with herself. If it was some flimsy girl without a back bone the relationship wouldn't work. Robert Pattinson is very famous and someone who craves attention and needs to be the center of everything just to gain confidence in herself could not be with him. All the attention will always be on him; the girl would have to be okay and satisfied enough with herself to stand next to Robert and not get jealous when people are calling his name and wanting him left and right. Also, Robert needs someone who isn't going to cater to his every move just because of who he is. His intimate relationships are one of the only things that will keep him grounded so he needs someone who's not afraid to give it to him once in awhile and speak her mind. Robert will find someone eventually. I know he's obsessed with Kristen right now and that might last; it might not. Ultimately, he's a London boy at heart and a home body. I think he will need a girl that came be 'home' for him. If she has a huge identity in the Hollywood, she won't be able to be that for him. I personally just want to see this kid happy. He seems like the only genuine person to come through this industry in awhile. Hope he stays the way he is.
