I actually really like the dark hair.

Uh Oh! I'm having crazy Britney flashbacks from the new brown hair. Next stop, pink wig and umbrella. On a higher note, it is good to see her out with the kids, enjoying the weather and water.

ive always been kinda like brit...going from bright, white blonde to dark, black locks. i have to admit, for myself and for brit, i dig the dark WAY better!!

This is like her crazy phase when she would rent a boat to ride around the marina. Most people would rather leave the marina if they went to the trouble of renting a boat, but maybe she hasn't figured that out yet.

It's inaccurate to say Kevin is never seen with the kids. I've seen pictures of him with his boys, although he is better at keeping them out of the public eye than Britney, who uses the kids for photo ops.
