Kristen Stewart and Dakota Fanning were in LA yesterday for another afternoon of work on The Runaways. They were decked out as their characters Joan Jett and Cherie Currie to shoot scenes around an old car. Dakota got a kick out of something since between takes she was laughing so hard she fell on the ground. The girls have become close on this movie — which calls for them to be especially comfortable together — and with New Moon wrapped up, we can expect more on set bonding when production of Eclipse starts next month.

so i guess dakota did need to change her hair after all. there was so much talk about how she got off scott free compared to Kristen but that's not the case huh?

7Should be an interesting film; I would rent it though. Dakota is a convincing actress, so I doubt the film will be poor.

9I think they're both pretty, but yeah I believe Kristens hair makes a big difference. She's naturally pretty though which I think counts for a lot. I love her long brunette hair it's beautiful.
10kristen stewart has a pretty face, she looks fat in her costume though...as for her acting, i bet she'll be AWKWARD in this movie!!!...haha!...no doubt about that!

13Well I definetely understand 'keepin it real' there is so more comments bashing kristen than praising her. Why? Who knows !!! But the reasons are surely suspects and jealousy might be one of them... But I totally agree with people saying there is no need to be agressive or offensive to show your point.

Kristen is so pretty. I'm getting used to the hair, and I think she was wearing a hairpiece in the earlier pics to give her that other weird-shaped mullet. Think I saw a pice of tape on her forehead.
Dakota is definitely wearing a wig, easier to tell from other sites with hi-res photos.
I think the costumes are fun- very 70s rock. Crazy, but fun! Love The Stooges tee Kristen is wearing. Yeah Iggy!
