Cameron has reportedly one of the worst complexions in H'wood. I can only imagine the layers of makeup it took to give her this look. But she has a terrific bod, that's for sure. I guess she's going for the I'm-still-young image.

This reminds me of Madonna...sth like...idk...15 years ago? But I guess since the cover of the mag invites us to "get into the groove" that kind of explains it. Still...Does she really need that?

This reminds me of the fact that we one thing we never saw of Madonna are real tattoos. Of Course she sported mehndi ones at a certain point, but she never committed herself to it.
@kissmestupid: the imperfect complexion is easily transformed afterwards with Photo shop and the likes. Even in moving pictures, look at Brad Pitt in The Curious case of Benjamin Button, when he looked his youngest, although it was really overdone. Pitt has severe acne scars, but in those scenes he was totally airbrushed, looking like a precious doll almost.

Yeah, pinkpeonygirl. It could just be post photoshopping. One of the things that turned me off with Benjamin Button was the high amount of CG in the film. Lots of people disagree with me, but that film was too phony for my tastes. CG should be used for special effects and setting, not to change the looks of the actors. But I think Brad had skin treatments when he was married to JA and has lost alot of his scars. They DID definitely shave 10 years off of his real age in the film, however, toward the end. When you look at him at Cannes you can see he looks all of his years when not photoshopped. Personally, I no longer trust 'zines to really show how a celebrity looks in their photo features. This one included.

i love that V magazine really pushes the envelope with all the people that are featured. this is a completely different side of cameron and i LOVE it.

I don't really think it suits her. I think she looks best in her natural state. I just don't think this look agrees with her. IMO.

It reminds me of Madonna, too. I'm surprised Cameron agreed to do this shoot. She's usually more original and quirky than this.

Also, I don't like the cigarette either. In my opinion, there's no artistic merit in posing with a cancer stick.

this just adds to the dangerous perception of cigarettes being "cool". Sorry but not a fan for that reason alone.

I agree with GlowingMoon & geebers. The cigarette turned me off. Cancer sticks aren't cool and they shouldn't be portrayed as such.

I can't recall seeing Cameron do anything like this. Pretty cool.

She reminds me of Cate Blanchett in that first photo. Its been done before, but not by Cameron...way to switch it up girl.
