Katie Holmes headed to the set of Don't Be Afraid of the Dark in Melbourne earlier today, with her costar Guy Pearce by her side. She's already been exploring Australia with Tom and Suri, but Katie's been doing more than just sightseeing when she's not on set. She recently announced that she'll be launching a dance scholarship program called the Dizzy Feet Foundation, along with choreographers Nigel Lythgoe and Carrie Ann Inaba. Katie's shown her dedication to the field with all the classes she's been taking with Suri, and we'll learn more about her latest project when her routine airs on So You Think You Can Dance.
More of Katie on the set if you read more.

Love the distressed leather jacket, but remind me why Katie's on So You Think You Can Dance? I don't get it.
1she's performing in a tribute to broadway. i guess that's why we've seen her going in and out of the dance studio for months. all that time on broadway must have really left quite the impact on her.
as for katie herself - i love that she's got longer hair and i can't wait to hear more about the movie and how she does in it.
2How much you wanna bet this "scholarship" has some $cientologist strings attached to it...? Glad to see her with longer hair though
3Nigel Lythgoe dates Priscilla Presley who is a well known Scientologist and an outspoken supporter of their anti-psychiatry front groups. I don't believe Tom would allow Katie to be involved in anything that wasn't somehow linked to Scientology.
4Katie looks pretty.Scientology or not its cool they are doing something worthy. I give kudos to ordinary people or famous, various organizations and all religions helping people in need, help our troops and their families, giving aid to America and the world.
5She's a natural beauty:)
6Fun for a change. Katie looks great with her cool comfy look.
