Why are there always negative comments about Jen Garner? Notice how they are usually the first ones to post on all her threads. Is this come kind of epidemic or what? She is probably the most perfect celeb out there. Sweet, kind, beautiful and talented. What is wrong with some of you people? She doesn't have to be a cookie cutter version of your typical Hollywood type actress. She is a busy mom and wife for crying out loud. I adore her for being her own person and not a carbon copy of all those other *slaves to fashion* chicks out there. Lord knows we have enough of them. Give me a break with that sh!t. I love Jen and her cute family. They rock!

Jen is very pretty...very pale...but very pretty. I agree shamrock7, Ben is very protective of his little flower Violet. She is so adorable.

I don't like Ben and Jen much as actor and actress. I don't know them so I cannot judge their personalities. But from what I've seen in Violet; a very happy, friendly, and healthy kid, I can tell that Ben and Jen are good parents. They seem to put their kids on top of everything. I like and respect that fact about them.

She's naturally a cute girl. But she looks too messy. She should take care of herself a little bit more. I cannot stand it when I saw her with wet hair and pale face walking on the street with at least 5 paps around her and knowing that her face will be everywhere. I have never met any women without taking care of themselves like her and end up with a faithful husband and have a happy marriage. I am sure after a while, Ben will start (or maybe he already has) having wandering eyes or more than that.
I am still surprised why he still stays with her this long? I thought she was just a temp rebound after Jlo...

Obviously Ben loves her for who and what she is and doesnt care to be with someone who has to "dress for the paps": like JHo. I heard it drove him crazy because she would take herhours to get ready to go out to just grab a cup of coffee. I mean I read it in a tabloid but I believe it. He and Jen Garner are much more compatible, starting with the fact that they just dont care about clothes. And why should they? If you want to look at someone who dresses up for you, to someone elses posts, and leave Jen alone

There has to be a middle ground between Jlo and Jennifer Garner!
Putting a full face to go and get coffee is obviously taking things too far, but so is never making any effort at all when you know that the paps are after you. Jennifer Garner is such a lovely, sweet actress, I think it's a shame that she looks so dowdy. It is possible to be casual and still look a bit more put-together.
Dressing like a soccer mum only makes her a hypocrite in my opinion - we all know that she's a multi millionaire and not a "regular" mum, so why the pretence?
By the way, a friend of mine fell pregnant whilst still breastfeeding her baby so it is possible...

her dress is horrible, her hair is wet or something, she might not be in the best shape but her face screams I AM HAPPY! so that is all that matters

and by the way, Ben and JLo were the most ridiculous couple on earth, when I see ''jenny from the block'' video I honestly feel sorry for Ben. I'm so glad he has normal wife and family and not someone who does everything to please the paps and calculates every new step ahead.

Why does she have to put makeup on and look non "messy".....I am glad she goes about her business as a regular woman and mom regardless of the paps. Much more refreshing to see her and Violet looking like happy normal people than Robomom Katie and Suri who is always wayyyy to done up everyday - god forbid she wear kid appropriate clothing.

Whoa. I have 2 kids (3 and 1) and if I was wearing a dress...hell would be frozen over.

I would love to see all of you who are criticizing her, take on that responsibility. A baby and a toddler are hard. Is she supposed to set aside 3+ hours to do her makeup, hair, find the perfect outfit, etc? As Moms, our priorities are WAY different.

What's important, is that she seems to be spending most of her time with her family. I never see her out with nannies. Ask her kids how much they care that their Mom isn't always decked out to the nines.

I have 3 kids, all less then 2 years apart. I mow my own lawn, clean my own house, work a 9 to 5 job, drive to soccer practice, swim practice, lead a girl scout troup. I check homework, check 3 sets of teeth and make dinner every night. I don't have nannies, or gardeners, house cleaners or personal assistants. So please stop including Jennifer Garner in the "normal mom's club". It's insulting to those of us who are, and still manage to do it all without all the help she has, and we do it without looking like an advocate for The Goodwill donation station.

They definitely look like a happy family (for Hollywood couple) and seem to focus on normal things instead of over the top glamour and lifestyle of the rich and famous. Both seem like hands on parents and kids always look happy and carefree. Not often seen when people are as rich and famous as them. I admire them and would not change one thing about them. Maybe I would like to see them have a bit more privacy, but that is it.

I have seen Jen dressed up when the times calls for and she always looks lovely.

She obviously needs a stylist to dress her. She has no clue how awful she dresses all the time and lets not even mention the hair. That dress looks like a dress for a toddler. What a screaming disaster!! Violet's wardrobe isn't any better either, I've seen Suri's dresses and they are beautiful. There is no excuse for looking so frumpy all the time, I have kids and a full time job and I still try to look nice everyday!!! Ben has a wandering eye, but hey she should know that and try to dress as Mrs. Affleck and not look like the Maid!!!!

Anon at 7:26 you sound very insecure in your relationship as though your partner has a wondering eye and would stray if you didn't always dress up to just to keep him interested. If your partner is so shallow, I think you would do better to look for someone more mature and who would love you for yourself not for the way you're dressed. Having said that, Jen looks just fine handling her business. You should do it your way and let her do it her way. Kapeech?
