Ashlee Simpson showed off her flowy bohemian chic style leaving Melrose Place rehearsals in LA yesterday. Ashlee is ready and excited to celebrate Jessica's birthday this Friday, but the younger Simpson sister was the first to reach a million followers on Twitter yesterday. It's sweet to see Pete cheering her on, especially since he's gearing up to spend the second half of the Summer on the road with his band.

i think that it's so funny how so many stars are so eager to have a million followers. to be honest, i follow a few (not ashlee though) and i don't get it. they talk about stuff that i have no clue about and to people that i don't know - so it's not all that much fun.
1I have a twitter acct and I haven't signed in for like 7 weeks...I just can't grasp updating my every move so people know I just finished my egg whites and I need another cup of coffee....and those are totally Jessica's jeans...I like that cut but those front pockets are hideous
