Katie Holmes was back on the set of Don't Be Afraid of the Dark with Guy Pearce earlier today in Melbourne. Tom apparently took off yesterday for a cruise with his longtime friend James Packer. Katie stayed busy in his absence with a morning of work before taking Suri for a swim and dropping $800 at Target. The girls picked up toys and household items as they turn Australia into their home for the next few months.

1it's funny the way this post is written - like she can't manage on her own...mind you when tom was filming his movie in germany or where ever - she had so much time to herself (and w/ suri)

5Katie knows exactly how to spend her free time and it usually involves spending Tom's money.
Mind you I'd love to be able to afford to go shopping every day of my life but when you are as well-off as she is it seems like an empty existence.
6Australia does have Target but its a different Target from the US. Different company I think... It says on their website they have no affiliation with the US Target and that it's 100% Australian owned.
I bought so much stuff from Target when I was in Aussie a month ago, we don't have Target in New Zealand
7Is anybody buying the story that Katie's pregnant again?? I can sure see a little belly burgeoning here...
8I think that weird creepy grin/grimace is the first photo of her since she's been in Australia in which she's kinda/half smiling. She's looked bored out of her brain in every other photo I've seen of her.
9is it me or does she kind of seem happy? maybe its b/c she is free from tom for a little while.......
10And for filler news bits and bits of tabloids are printed here about this family. The Cruise family are happy and lovely no matter how hew haters and gossips destroy them.
Its true Katie keeps herself productive with Tom filming or not. During the Valkyrie filming at Germany its where Katie trained for the NY marathon.
