Katie Holmes flashed a smile yesterday morning as she arrived to work on the Melbourne set of Don't Be Afraid of the Dark. She's currently balancing the demands of filming and keeping an eye on Suri, as Tom is off enjoying a cruise with the Australian billionaire James Packer. Tom's got plenty of high-profile pals, but it's his friendship with David Beckham that is about to be explored in a new book. David apparently admits that he and Victoria were inspired to name their third son after meeting Tom, which is a sweet homage to both him and Katie.

1really - they named cruz cruz because of tom? that's kind of interesting/odd. anyway, it's nice to see katie smiling and i hope that we continue to see that from her as she's working on the movie.

5Why is there this weird assumption made that Katie Holmes doesn't employ hired help or something (when, in fact, she does)? Nannies, personal assistants, drivers, bodyguards, you name it. The Cruises employ tons of help and choose only luxury accommodations. With just this one movie currently in the works, just the one toddler that requires real (hired) care, it seems rather silly to talk about the "demands" and "balancing act" of her life.

7Katie is a natural beauty and I love how she acts. To me she's also got the best personality in Hollywood how she treats people,the fans even the way she handles the media and tabloid nonsense. The anonymous comments on all celebrities on this site and boards in general are so trollish and cowardlike. I dont believe anything Shannolyn writes because she's a Katie hater and worships Michelle Williams.
