In parts of Western Europe and Asia, actors do lots of ads without seeming like their careers are in the gutter. Lots of American actors are in said ads. They pay well and it exposes you to a larger audience, so why not? We're slowly going in that direction. Burberry - Rachel Weisz. Versace - Halle. St. John - Angelina. LV - Scarlett. Tag Heuer - Uma. Estee Lauder Pleasures and some other stuff - Gwyneth. The person who has taken the boldest step is CZJ with t-mobile ads. There's a risk since it's not fashion-related. She doesn't act much these days anyway.

Actors are taking good money away from models, but that's because models these days are lifeless, uninteresting walking hangers. The last model's ad I liked was Sophie Dahl's Opium ad.

I just got to say this..has anyone seen the interview John Stamos gave on that Australian talk show? I jut saw it and OMG what a LOSER...he was def on something...I haven't liked him since he was on the Howard Stern show a few years back (back when everyone forgot who he was) and said that in his popular FULL HOUSE days he would go meet girls in a hotel bar and take them back to his room..then he would say he had to go to the bathroom (with the lights out) and let one of his friends come back and get into bed with the girl all while she thought it was John Stamos she was "doing". If that's true he's a discusting pig...sorry..I know I'm off topic here.
