Tonight Paris will have her first post jail interview on Larry King (live chat anyone? We'll be here) but for her print debut, People landed the exclusive. The photo shoot (with touched up roots and extensions) includes an interview from grandpa's Bel Air mansion - her first stop after jail. Paris dishes on her medical condition, her fellow inmates and more. This is just step one in her reinvention makeover to be a changed woman. For all of those that doubt her change, Paris said, "They're wrong and they don't know me. I'm a good person. I'm a compassionate person. I have a big heart. I'm sincere, and they'll see."
On the other side of the newsstand, Us Weekly is declaring a Paris ban (we'll see how long that lasts). Perhaps they're just a bit heartbroken after all those years of supporting the heiress since they did not get the exclusive.

give me a BREAK!!!!!
ughhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh
1When did People take these pictures? Yesterday? Wow that was fast.
2Time will tell...
3I LUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUURVE YOU PARIS!
4I can't stand her. Jail did WONDERS for her appearance. I think she was cuter with her roots out.
5goodness, this girl has had a lot of free publicity going on, huh? she's been to jail and she's even more famous when she gets out? now that's crazy!
6They are being a good example! I hope other "news sources" do the same. The market is way oversaturated with news about her. She is no one to look up to, I hope her popularity for doing nothing but driving drunk and being rich goes away.
7Actions and less talk, Paris
8Good and compassionate people don't do the things she has done. We all have the capacity to change, it would be nice to see if she's capable of it. I'm not holding my breath, but it would be nice.
9I've never seen a compassionate person that makes racial comments
10In quoting Charlie Brown, "Good Grief!"
11I normally don't buy US Weekly or People, but if US Weekly has a ban on Paris, I'm TOTALLY supporting that mag!!
12CAN'T WE ALL JUST FORGET ABOUT HER?!!! SO SICK OF HER.
13I will reserve all negative comments out of respect for ski...let me just do this instead -
14love2ski - knew you'd be here...this magazine is for you!..
i'm going to buy it..hahaha! NOT...
15Have they photoshopped Paris' nose?! It doesnt look like a beak on the cover there!
16WOOT WOOT to US Weekly!!! lol
17hahahah thanks catarina!
Tatti of course I would be in here. hahaa
18No, xo_verify, someone broke Paris nose during jail time, that is why it looks different
19oh yes, she's changed a lot
, a photoshoot right after her release from prison. mm, I see the
difference *sarcasmf*
20love the paris ban, b*tch doesn't deserve the attention.
I'm buying it. I'm a sucker. I wanna see the pics and read the article.
21Paris, I'll never believe anything you say.
22did you hear that US magazine is letting out a 100% Paris free issue---actually it is a 99% Paris Free issue because they mention it is a PARIS free issue on the cover---they say her name so it is only 99% Paris Hilton free!
23I hate myself a little for wanting to read that interview.
24Good for US Weekly and for the AP for doing it earlier, but why for just a week? What are we going to miss if she is out of the press entirely?
25As sad as this sounds because I have never much cared for Paris before I am tivo'ing the Larry King special tonight and will be buying the People Magazine Friday. She looks gorgeous on the cover. Give me greif and hate me all you want.
26Ski - there are more fans of Paris, it was not just you and T-hive
27well, i hope that she puts her money where her mouth is. i really want to believe that she is a changed woman. i can't judge her until she actually does something.
28YAY PARIS!!!!! YOU GO GIRL!!!!!
29
Deba!!!!
30didn't when AP said they weren't doing Paris stories for a week, they did one like a day after the said that?
I doubt US will be able to keep it up.
WAIT is US just not doing a paris story for this one magazine?
31Or from now on?????????????
Go AWAY! Forever, if at all possible!
32Anyone hear about the journalist on Morning Joe on MSNBC who refused to cover the Paris story? It's great, she just refuses point blank to read it out and moves on to the next story, saying that you'd think they would be leading with a story about Iraq. Then she tears the script up!

And even though US Weekly are only blanking her out of spite because they didn't get an exclusive, it would be amazing if more media outlets (that includes you Pop!) followed suit. We've all had enough of her at this point, and if she's serious about changing her ways then a little time out of the spotlight might be more conducive to achieving that than popping up on a magazine cover the day after she gets out. I mean, what's that all about? Oh yeah, I'm all set to become a changed woman, but just as soon as I get my extensions changed and my roots done and get this pesky photo shoot out of the way? Awesome start Paris, truly awesome.
33NO more Paris for US period! Ski!
Whatever! to the "I've changed". I love the outfit choice. That's how you know it's a PR stunt. I'd be more inclined to believe it if she hadn't dressed like laura bush for the interview. She could be a changed person but still dress cute. I'll beieve this Women's Center when I see it. And her just dolling out the $$$ for it doesn't count. I'd like to see her actively involved in something besides her self.
And Bambi why are u so concerned with what the Paris haters (scratch that dislikers) do? In case you'd like to know I skipped breakfast and plan to have Pizza for lunch. And know this: I only said something because this isn't the first time you've made a point of pointing out what others are doing. Stick to the topic at hand. No need to constantly start $ hit. Completely juvenile!
34@KIKI I'm with you on the Paris blackout from POP. At least for a while a lot of people are on a Paris burnout. I would love it if LKL had the lowest ratings ever for tonights show it would prove how truly tired we are of this chick. There are more celebs out there besides Paris, LL, Nicole, Brangelina, JT and Cameron Diaz
35Love her !!!!
36aww she`s so sweet ! go Paris
37lol - "I refuse to read the Paris Hilton story!" says the reporter - then proceeds to waste 3 minutes talking about it.
Brilliant. Point taken Mika
38GO GO GO GO GO PARIS!! GO PARIS GO PARIS GO!!!!!!!!
39LOVE HER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've got to say -- I liked her when she had some roots showing, it made her look, more, well.... real. Less Fem-botish.
40jaxon are you sure it is no more period?
41I thought it was that, then I read the article. Now I am confussed.
Does matter to me though, US is a crap magazine.
LMAO ski , cool it .lol
42I really hope that she does the right thing. She has a lot of media coverage and if applied correctly she could make an excellent example for others in society. She amazes me. The worse she seems to do (THE tape, drunk driving), the more money she ends up receiving.
43I
44So, were they touching up her hair for the photos while they were interviewing her? I don't believe that she is changed. Let's see how she does for the next two months and then I'll decide. I'm glad that US is banning her. She's boring. Why do people idolize someone that writes letters like a 5 year old and didn't even make it through 10th grade?
45I can't wait too see what comes from all of this
46This may have changed her life for the better.
47i agree with all the paris non-believers. she is shallow and callous, and i feel sorry for all the little girls out there who look up to her. she is not a role model, and i think most people can see right through her. i don't think a ban is necessary, but it is nice to know others don't condone her type of behavior and are so vocal about it.
48Ewe look how she is trying to come across as all conserative in this picture. wtf?
49I totally expected Barbara Walters to get the first interview. Paris looks great for someone just out of prison. She's one of the people who can look amazing with just mascara and some gloss. I hope she's as changed as she says she is.
