Paris Hilton arrived for her interview with Larry King this afternoon, hair blonder than ever and with a smile on her face. i wish this creature would just GO AWAY!!! or that sites like Popsugar would just STOP posting aout her. is that too much to ask?
1I'd totally support Popsugar if they wanted to do a Paris blackout.
2I'm watching!!! This should be good.
3i really don't like her, but was watching during sytycd commercials. she seemed poised and lost the baby voice and blue contacts......i still don't like her, but ALMOST have a sliver of respect for her.
4im watching ofcorse lol
5she looks much calmer
i really think she changed
i cant believe she has ADD thas nuts lol
larry king really askin her personal ques. my god like are u in therapy? lol wow
Larry King sounds so condescending to her...it is making me crazy!!
6I'm not gonna waste my night on Parasite Hilton!
7Total brainrot.
8Watching now...it amazes me that Larry King can fill an entire hour with her. She is completely vapid.
9I'll wait for the clif notes.
10she looks like shes back to the same old Paris .Sigh
11ugh she is soooo annoying
12i didn't watch, what did i miss?
13omg camilla youtube it
14actually watch cnn i think its repeating
15wow anderson cooper and whoever else that is are mean my GOD
16wow anderson cooper and whoever else that is are mean my GOD
17What do you expect? Paris Hilton isn't REAL news and it's ridiculous how much attention this girl gets for basically doing nothing. Oh well - such is life.
18After watching the interview, I believe she's changed for the better. We'll just have to wait and see, I guess. She seems to be very kinder now and not flashy in a sense. I mean, just listen to what she wrote and what she said about those women back in prision. People are able to have second chances and we should support her, even though half the world seems to hate her.
19I watched it and I'm done with her. There is absolutely nothing truthful, smart, or interesting about her. Her beauty is limited to what can be applied to her and she has not changed. She has such a limited vocabulary and she was unable to say anything past stupid cliches. She lied about ever using drugs even though we've all seen the pictures. We need to do her a huge favor and be done with her. PLEASE let's focus on something else.
20On the Soup the other day, they had a montage of her parroting out what her publicist told her to say over, and over, and over. "I'm scared...but I'm ready to face my sentance." She said it like 15 times to different camera crews.
You think she hasn't been prepped extensively for this by people she pays, probably for the last 2 weeks? Of course she has. This isn't the pudding you wll find the proof in. We will have to wait and see by her actions if she really has changed.
IMO, she started off as a really, really bad person. Call me judgemental, but the girl video tapped herself enough to give the general public sooo many hours of footage to base their opinions on. She video tapped her self mugging for the camera at her grandmother's FUNERAL. At the funeral! The priest is talking in the church, and she fake pouts into the lense. What kind of person does that? That isn't a rumor, that isn't some interview that journalists slanted...that is her own actions being disgusting.
I think she has a very large hole she needs to dig out of.
21Larry should have brought up her racist remarks caught on video and at least made her own up to it and apologize. She looked like she was going to cry when LK told her 63% of viewers felt she was treated fairly. LOL
22i live in mexico
23& can´t watch
god i adore youtube
Favorite line was...
24LK: "what's your favorite bible passage?"
Paris: "Ummm, {laughs} I don't really have a favorite"
Larry King was like the pre-show for Anderson Cooper, whose show is much more interesting. Too bad he didn't interview her.
25My favorite part was when she kept messing up cliche sayings - like: "I wish I had known now what I knew then." or whatever the hell she said. I get what she was trying to say, but literally every single time she tried to say something she screwed it up. I guess 3 weeks in solitary will do that though. I'm looking forward to see if she'll actually change any, but not holding my breath.
26great. I guessed a lot of people watched the show...now, she definitely won't go away!
27I didn't ... I'll probably YouTube it later out of pure curiosity but I don't have to watch it to know that Paris HASN'T changed.
28I didn't watch it. I watched America's Next Inventor or whatever that show is called.
29I loved it when Larry said "She says she's going to stop acting dumb because it's not cute anymore. When was it ever cute?" HA!
30I didn't exactly watch it... more like listen while doing other stuff, but I run a lot of news on tv while I multi-task
31I hope she learned her lesson. I watched a clip of Larry king on th news just now.
32I completely agree with you, Ginger.
Anderson Cooper should have interviewed her. I think his views on Paris pretty much reflects what the majority feels about her.
Larry King went too easy on her, or isn't as aware or care about Paris and what she does. But regardless of the weak interview, Paris still managed to make herself look dumb, which we all know she is anyway.
Bottom line: Paris has not changed at all. If anything she has this weird notion in her head now that she's approached martyrdom. Lord help us all.
33she is maybe - maybe the most boring uninteresting celeb. she has nothing to say - nothing! she did just come out of jail - you would think she would have an interesting story or something! I think the media and people around her made her money - I just don't buy that she's secretly this savy businesswoman - I don't believe it. I don't think there's some mystery we all haven't figured out yet - i think she's just a bore.
also she's a liar - she said none of her friends have gone to rehab! nicole richie and that bloated elvis impersonator brabdon davis went to rehab. Why not just admit the truth?
34I didn't watch it..but i read the transcript..i guess that takes oh less than 20 minutes & you don't have to see her..but..i don't know..part of me feels maybe she has learned and then part of me really makes me think..umm..whatever you just said means nothing..
35I watched it.I wish he was harder on her.Nancy Grace should of interviewed her.I'm personally tired of her. She's not that interesting and I have no idea why there is so much hoopla on her being out of jail. There are so many news stories out there that are important but yet everyone focuses on Paris.
36If you get the chance to watch the rebroadcast of Anderson Cooper tonight, the first hour disects the Larry King interview, and some his panelists concur that she doesn't have enough substance to merit an hour interview. Anderson doesn't hold back and it's pretty funny. Well, unless you're a really big fan of Paris... then it might not be so amusing.
He even interviews Larry about the interview, and Larry talks about the drug use and why he didn't pin her down on it further. Larry doesn't seem at all convinced she's changed. I don't think so either.
37I am sick of hearing about her. The media is acting as if she spent over a year in jail or longer. Hell she only stayed in there what 2 or 3 weeks, wooooo that is like real hard time. The major news outlets and the entertainment shows need to get over this useless, no talent, silver spoon, spoiled brat!
38man, ginger if i would have known about the Anderson Cooper special i would have told my friend to TiVo it..darn..yea, seriously, i agree, he really needed to get down to the nitty gritty but didnt
39just another pathetic "celebrity" who has done absolutely nothing worthwhile or meaningful, yet, she is famous. so ridiculous! i give her two weeks and she will do something incredibly stupid or be back to her wild ways!
40I don't believe she's changed at all. Just wait and see. She's too far gone to ever be mainstream or a people's princess. It's a sad fact, but it's true.
41I wanted her to change so bad, but after watching the interview, it's blatantly obvious she hasn't...same old Paris.
The Anderson Cooper show rebroadcasts two more times tonight I think, in about 20 mintues and probably 3 hours after that. I have an iota more respect for Larry after seeing him on Anderson, because he seems pretty wimpy with Paris, who spent most of the show checking her notes and blaming everyone else for their misperception of her. I hope most of the world saw through her and she gets shunned.
Anderson had some classic barbs, about how it's not like Paris suddenly got intelligent. What's great about having Anderson critique is that he comes from a similar economic background as Paris, but rather than rest on his families name and wealth, he went out and worked to develop credibility in media and do something worthwhile with his life.
42ALL this media coverage and what not, you'd think Jesus came to town! And yet...it's just a Parisite!
43Serena..
I just finished watching it and I don't think she said that none of her friends ever went to rehab. I think she said that none of her friends are in rehab. To me she was saying that Lindsey isn't her friend. That is how I took it.
Now, I am not saying she didn't lie about other things...
44blah blah blah whatever
45I missed it, anyway to listen to it?
46She hasn't changed..she's a liar..."NEVER TAKEN DRUGS"...lol there were several videos of her smoking pot several times..and she has the nerve to say she has NEVER participated in drug use?? LOSER! With all the suffering in the world she made it out to be like NO ONE has suffered as much as her the last 23 days...she played the pity me card over and over...there are people homeless without food to eat..and she complains about the sandwiches???I can't stand her! She wouldn't know suffering if it jumped up and bit her!
47So after watching her interview and then a couple other news programs analyzing the whole thing, it really seems Paris has not changed. She still doesn't get why she went to jail.. She still thinks her crime wasn't a big deal! So she says she feels bad and she's learned her lesson, yet she's not admitting that what she did was really wrong. :/ Oh, and then of course, like always, Paris kept saying that we, the public, have the wrong perception of her. So yeah.. I'm sure she'll act different for a while, but a year from now she'll be back to her old ways...
48I'm browsing through the transcript... favorite quotes thus far:
Hilton: Lunch is basically a bologna sandwich which is they just give a bologna which -- they call it mystery meat. It's really scary.
Hilton: Well, I suffer from claustrophobia my entire life.
King: Are you now cured?
Hilton: Of claustrophobia? Well, now that I'm out of there, yes.
Hilton: I don't want to cause a whole media circus going in.
Hilton: I have been on medication since I was a child. I have ADD. So I take medication for that.
King: Never taken drugs?
Hilton: No.
King: Up next, she said her dumb act is no longer cute. What was cute about it in the first place?
I didn't know this was gonna be so entertaining!
And no way did she write all those
jail notes! Totally her publicist talking!
49i just about passed out from laughing so hard after i heard larry ask about if she "danced her way through" with the media and fame, and she went into her whole "i was in jail for 23 days"...totally not getting his question, but mostly i laughed myself silly cause i thought for sure she was going to respond with "yea, i go out and dance all the time"
