Actually, if you look at all angles, she's STRAIGHT out to the front, nothing on the sides. She's probably the same size as an average 8-month pregnant women, she just looks bigger because of it all bring in front rather than a little more evenly distributed.

I think she's actually due in July. Her yoga instructor was talking to someone and said that she was due in the middle of July. There is no way she is going to still be pregnant in August.

I think the belt is what makes it look frumpy, whereas it would be cute maternity wear without it.

But it just amazes me how absolutely perfect she looks. Her ankles aren't swollen, her face isn't puffy, her arms still look toned and perfect. I guarantee that come my 8th month of pregnancy, I'm going to look for more like Jabba the Hut.

I call boy, when I was preggers I looked just like her at this point...HUGE belly! I know you think she can't get bigger, but believe me, she can get much bigger! It's nice to see celebrities in this 'misery', makes me feel better about how my pregnancy went...hehe

i do not understand all the HUGE pregnant comments celebrities get... i guess it is the price of being famous... but crap she looks amazing and has a BABY inside... she does not look huge... would you rather see a barely there stomach and skinny unhealthy baby arrive next month? i am all for glowing healthy beautiful bellies!

She is really big and low- I think it is a boy. I was huge like this (all in my stomach) and people looked at me all crazy in the last few weeks. I couldn't take the stares and had a few choice comments for a few folks...

When you're really tiny like she is you tend to look huge pregnant. My 90 lb. friend looked gigantic, had a big baby, and walked out of the hospital wearing her pre-pregnancy jeans.

I think when most people are saying: "she looks huge", they're talking about her belly. Obviously she is all belly and looks great. That said, I don't get the belt thing. She does this a lot. I agree with those who've said that when you're a smaller person, there's nowhere for the belly to go but out. I've had 2 boys and a girl and I've carried that way all 3 times.

bless her. this is why i am never giving birth to a child.

I thought she was having twins...maybe I'm wrong. But that would explain the extra large tummy bump. Oh, and PSA - she doesn't need the world telling her how huge she is. Believe me, she knows. When I got to be this pregnant (or almost - I was never quite this big) people had SO MUCH FREAKING NERVE coming up to me and making all kinds of asinine comments about how enormous my belly was. Seriously, pregnant women don't want to hear it.

just a side note- i've never been pregnant and although i'd like to have children i respect the choice of those who don't. still i think "spawn" is pretty much the single most derogatory term for being pregnant. it took society a long time to make pregnancy a socially accepted condition (back in the day any referance to pregnancy was actually censored from TV shows!) and it looks like there's still a certain amount of stigma attached to it. the thing that saddens me most is that most of those derogatory comments come from other women...
