Newly single Tony Romo went to the Key Club in LA for a boys' night out yesterday. He was apparently partying all weekend and flirting with girls after breaking up with Jessica last Thursday. Just two weeks ago, the QB was talking about how happy he was with Jess and they even posed together at his golf event. Sources say Jessica was more serious about the relationship than he was but tell us — are you surprised Tony broke up with Jessica?

Not really, he always seemed less into the relationship but Jess was really in love. I knew it was a matter of time.
1NO!!! HE JUST NEEDS A MORE POPULAR CELEB TO BOOST HIS CAREER AND HIS SALARY! OR MAYBE IT'S BECAUSE SHE GAINED WEIGHT?! YOU NEVER KNOW WITH THIS PPL!!
2i am not surprised at all. i am actually surprised they lasted as long as they did.
3LOL, i'm more surprised it lasted that long. I'm almost positive Jessica is envious of Ashley.
Barbie and Ken??? Jessica needs to be smacked!
4I predicted this a long time ago. I think this was very one sided. Plus, Jessica bought Tony a $100,000 boat for his birthday! That shows desperation. Karma.
5he dresses like an idiot
but i guess she does too so you'd think they'd be a match made in heaven
6it's not fair to say she was more into it than him - he's an athlete not a hollywood celeb like her - she has more opportunity and is pushed more to talk about that sort of thing in interviews etc. - furthermore, she's a girl! girls always seem more into it than men (well macho men like him at least)...it's not fair to say because we don't know how he felt and how he behaved behind closed doors
7My friend went to college with him and says he is a womanizer. He still keeps in touch with his former girlfriends. Jessica was a notch in his belt.
8The only thing I find surprising is Pop Sugar's ability to devote almost 2 years reporting on the possibility of a Simpson-Romo relationship, then, when they apparently do break up, ask if it is "surprising"? Idiocy.
9i feel bad for her. she always seems so desperate in relationships and over shares. i was surprised it lasted this long too. and a barbie and ken themed birthday party??? ummm that's for five year olds. seriously.
10I am not shocked one bit.
There is something about Jessica that is extremely annoying.

12Well Nick just broke up with whatshername....I think Jessica and Nick should give it another go! I loved Newlyweds...
13I actually feel bad for her, and I hope she doesn't take him back again. He's obviously not ready to settle down, and she needs to realize she isn't going to change him.
14nope - he can squeeze into the three pack of Summer's Eve with with John Mayer and Pete Wentz
15Jessica and Jennifer Aniston are two peas in a pod. I am never surprised to hear about the ending of their latest relationship. It would be more surprising if they were able to keep a man. They seem high maintainace to say the least.
16... are they seriously actually broken up this time? because this has been "reported" about 10 times. I wouldn't be surprised in the least if it was true though
17Dear Anonymous @ 2 - do you have to type in caps? Do you really???
As for Jess, I can't imagine anyone is surprised. She seems very shallow and high maintenance, but I do feel sorry for her.
18Not really. I think Jessica needs to find someone out of the spotlight and then if she does refrain from talking about the relationship in numerous magazine spreads.
19and I too feel sorry for her. Love her or hate her...getting broken up with a day before your birthday is tough. Having to hear about it over and over in the media I imagine is even worse.
20I'm not sure if there is any, or much, hope for Jessica. She grew up in such a weird environment with a Joe Jackson-type father. I don't think she has any clue whatsoever how real people live or what's appropriate or inappropriate. She can't walk 2 feet without asking where her father is so he can tell her her next move. It's very sad and very pathetic. I just don't know what's going to happen to her because she is just a complete fool--and she doesn't even know it, which is the real scary thing.
21This advice has been passed down among the women of my family for generations: the key to a lasting relationship is that the man should always be a tiny bit more in love with the women than the woman is with him. And Jessica has obviously never heard or taken advice such as this.
22He always has stains on his clothes?? I like your advice fleur fairy!
23She seems like such a sweet girl I hope she finds someone good for her!
I don't really care for either. Jessica seems extremely sweet and naive, and Tony seems really down to earth and not into the Hollywood life that Jessica needs. I'm surprised he lasted as long as he did with her. My theory is that she saw Ashlee as a mom and a wife and starting putting the "I am almost 30" pressure on him. He left at the right time...Ken & Barbie party? Immature, Jessica!
24DaisyDuke, I'm with you! Bring back Newlyweds! Lol.
25Like it or not Jessica Simpson is a has been that never was. I heard she was doing a Ty-D-Bol commercial. Ok! She's a stiff and unnatural singer that no one wants to see, a worse actress, and is kept in the public eye by an ex-preacher dad with a diamond earing, getting any kind of gig for her to stay in the tabloid press in order to keep making money in any way possible.
Does Tony Romo need this? Apparently not. He's young, he's an NFL Star, and he needs to find a young woman with class and dignity to raise his future children.
26I don't like her or hate her in particular....sometimes I do think she's stupid tho...
27However, I feel sorry for her and I do think he's such a jerk to dump her right before her bday party. That's just hurtful.
"He's young, he's an NFL Star, and he needs to find a young woman with class and dignity to raise his future children."
All he NEEDS to do is win a Superbowl.
28Fleurfairy, sorry but I don't agree with that advice at all. I think that both parties should be equally in love with each other. That's how trust and a lasting relationship is built.
I do feel bad for Jessica, I don't really have an opinion of her usually, but that sucks to be dumped right before your birthday.
29JUST IN TIME FOR FOOTBALL SEASON!!
30im not surprised at all. how much pressure can a guy take you know?
31I always had the feeling she was more into him than him into her.
32She kind of looked desperate to prove she had got her a new man after finding out Nick Lachey was dating with Vanessa Minillo.
It's so typical of everyone to trash the women when break ups happen!! And he's this big stud going out on the town a day after the news broke to the media. What an *sshole! Say what you will about Jessica Simpson, talentless, annoying, blah, blah....but girl knew how to market herself and has more in the bank than any of the haters...probably more than Tony Romo himself!
33Not surprising - a professional athlete (grown baby) and a celebrity (grown child) can't make it work. It should be in their contracts they can't get married until they've retired, since they have the attention spans of adolescents. Hollywood and professional sports are high school with grown ups.
34She's stupid, self obsessed, looks like a man and is incapable of loving anyone but herself. She used him for fame and magazine covers and it was only a matter of time til he would have the courage to finally pull the plug.
35I feel bad for her, but the worse thing she could have done would have been to try to convince him to marry her when he wasn't ready yet. Those type of talking-him-into marriages don't work.
36I think it's lame that he broke up with her and the next night spent a very public night out with his friends on her b-day. He easily could have waited a few days.
37No. Who would want to be with her in the first place???
But that was mean to break up with her the day before her birthday
I would have loved a Barbie
& Ken party! Ha ha.
38She's a fling girl. Guys don't hold on to girls that have nothing intelligent to say.
39Jess, grow a pair of balls. She thinks life is over just because you are 30.. girl, dont look for love let love find you and dont invest yourself so hard on someone before you know how far you can throw them. Look at Halle berry, she found her dream man. and who says you need a man. Stop believing in fairytales.
40i dont think she was so in love with tony, she just was needy, dont let your world revolve around somebody, relationships are feable just like human beings, be your own person.
PS: next time you get a good man like nick dont take him for granted
I am not surprised at all. I never thought they could last that far. Though, I am a huge fan of Jessica, I was quite happy and relieved of the breakup news especially when it was done by Romo. Why? Because we all know Jessica. She's always been the clingy and needy one in all of her relationships so she would never be able to dump any guy first though deep inside, she may have sensed he's not right for her. With her personality, she would never be determined to make that decision. Tony dumping her was a good thing because it he was and never will be right for her. She's too famous and rich for him. Besides, they do not share the same values. She wants to be married and settled down with a family and she's a one-man woman so a never-wants-to-marry and many-girls-at-the-same-time kind of man like Romo will never fit in Jessica's life.
41Again, if he didn't dump her, he would never dump him, then she will keep wasting her precious life with some loser like him for the reast of her life. Is he worth it? Definitely, nope!!! It's time for her to find someone as famous and as rich and as successful as her to get married and have beautiful kids together while the loser Romo keeps dating those loser blonds at the bar whom he just wants to have one-night-stand and vice versa for the rest of his life.
