The Bridget Jones franchise is coming back to the big screen with a third film starring Renee Zellweger. The project is still in the early planning stages, but it looks like work will start next year on a script that centers on the character's attempts to have a baby. The most recent of the films was 2004's Bridget Jones: The Edge of Reason, and in the intervening years Renee has had varying success with her projects. While you guys seem excited about more Bridget, it's not necessarily a step forward for Renee's career. So, tell us — do you think it's a good idea for her to go back to Bridget?

3It would be great to see Bridget again.. But I thought in the last film the character became more like a stereotype instead of a real character... But I loved the first film..
4I love Bridget Jones and love Renee. No one else playing Bridget would work. She has made the character her own. Hey it's a recession at least she's got a job. More than others can say.
5Being nominated for a couple of Oscars and winning gives you the choice of what you want to do. The girl is talented, regardless of what some people think. And Bridget Jones is a character that people will remember for a very long time. Hopefully this one will be better than Edge of Reason was.
6that's kind of funny. i think that i wouldn't mind seeing her in another bridget movie. it's probably the only way that i wouldn't mind seeing her.

11I love Briget Jones. The first movie was great. The second movie lacked the warmth and heart of the first one. It seemed they went out of their way to make her unattractive and foolish. I don't know if it was the new director or the writting. I hope the third goes back to the quality of the first. Renee is Briget Jones.

13I think that Renee Zellwegger is the only actress that can bring Bridget Jones to life and I can't wait for this movie to come out!!! The movie, esp the 1st, always makes me happy

19I love Bridget Jones! Even though the 2nd movie sucked, they should really work on a good 3rd script and hopefully it will be a good one! and it has to have Colin Firth and Hugh Grant back, it won't be the same w/o them!
20I absolutely love Renee(in all of her roles) and she is great as Bridget. However, the last installments of BJ columns done by Ms. Fielding were horrendous. I sincerely hope the writers do a major overhaul of the columns in producing a script. Also, they MUST get Colin Firth and the rest of the cast back if the film is to work!
21Renee is marvelous as Bridget! I would definitely watch another movie, but only if they scratch the storyline presented by Fielding in the 2005 columns! The columns were hated by fans. Bridget had a baby by Daniel, breaking Mark's and Bridget's hearts. Please, change the storyline or fans will revolt!
22Have always felt that Edge Of Reason would have been much better had original director Sharon Maguire been in charge. Bring back Sharon before bringing back Bridget. Then bring back orange buffoon Julian, and Perpetua!
23ehhh...im skeptical, but what else is she doing? New In Town was a flop....the first BJ movie was classic! i also like seein her pack on the pounds then lose it all in 1 month...i know its not healthy, but its amazing!!
24I loved the book and the first movie...the second was "eh" but I guess they can bring it back. I know the character is a little goofy but it may get old soon...
25I LOVE the first BJ movie. The second one is really good too, but nothing beats the first one. It makes me happy every time I watch it. If they can pull off a third installment, I'm all for it. I just don't want to see another movie get ruined by a terrible sequel.
