Cyndi Lauper also made some comment last week about how Britney wouldn't be singing with her, which at the time seemed like she meant both on the stage together, but I guess she really meant not in the same venue on the same day.

It would have been a better move to sort this out before announcing it, because now it makes Britney look like an even bigger joke. She can't even blame the manager she fired for this.

Okay, why would ANYONE want to pay good money to see her dance on stage on lip-sync? You would have to be a fool to want to part with your money for that. So, she is basically a backup dancer that can move her mouth to words. If you like her music, buy her CD for $12 and save yourself some money. I can't believe she got rich off of her fans and her only talent is to dance like a stripper and not sing. With all the talented acts out there today, good luck with that comeback career you are trying to achieve! It will NEVER happen.

She is no better than Milli Vanilli. Sure, that is her voice on the CD, but the studio obviously manipulated it so much that is might as well be someone else singing.

Spider78, I have strong doubts that she even sang the main hook on Toxic..."I'm addicted to you, but I know that your toxic". I think that was sung by one of the 18 back up singers she usually has on her cds.

In the credits of one of her cds I saw, it listed the back up singers, and one of them was a funny name with a star. If you look for the footnote, it says that name represents a team of singers, not just one person.

I had heard Cyndi said it was NEVER happening, but tiat is not shocking. Why would any credible singer want anything to do with that? I think Brit's career as a lipsyncer is pretty much dead.

Britney has ALWAYS lipped the fast songs and sung the ballads. It's not a new thing. Beyonce just lipped at the BET awards. So did 50 cent. So does Ciara. So does Rihanna. So does so many other people.

And no offense but you made this article appear more negative then the actual real article. They wanted her and asked her to be at the Vegas show, but she never got back to them. It's not like she begged to be there.

Mello, she sings the ballads with backing tracks, and something they call "Pitch correction". It is added to the live vocal by the sound booth, and keeps things from being out of key.
