Ashlee Simpson had Bronx in her arms yesterday as they headed to a class in LA. She wore her favorite wide-legged jeans while little Bronx stayed shoeless in the heat. They're holding down the fort at home while Pete's off touring, but Ashlee could spend quality time with another family member. Her sister Jessica is apparently pretty sad about being totally blindsided by her breakup with Tony, so some sisterly bonding might be just the kind of support Jess needs right now.

12I had jeans just like that back in 1976! Yeah, I'm old and that's why I am going to tell you all to quit picking on Pete and Ashlee as parents. We are all "just playing at being parents". Doing the best you can as you go along is what all parents do. That baby has a safe home, is well cared for and his parents adore him. Bronx is going to be just fine.
13Honestly, I doubt that Jessica wants to hang with her happily married sister right now. Ashlee has everything Jessica wanted with Tony. That's why she is sleeping with her mom and the dogs for now.

18I totally agree with Louie, Ashlee doesn't look like a mother at all. I seen people younger than her have babies and they don't look like they are playing house (like Pete and Ashlee). Bronx is such an adorable, chunky boy though.
19Her hair is awesome and I'm glad she doesn't do the fake tan anymore. She looks beautiful. And that is one large baby. And I actually like the jeans!
