Lindsay Lohan is featured in yet another Marilyn Monroe-themed photo shoot, this time for August's Vogue España. We saw her getting dressed up for the pictures back in May, as she channeled old Hollywood glamour in front of the iconic sign. The issue is perfectly timed to drum up some publicity for Labor Pains before it airs on Sunday, when we'll get to see LL on the small screen for the first time since her stint on Ugly Betty last year.

This girl was talented at age 10 or 11...it's all went down hill since then. Every character now has the same range and emotions as the character before. She has gone to where some child stars go and that;s into a state of stagnitation....she's not as good as she once was, but some are hoping she can pull something new off soon. Most girls though like her, at least have their looks going behind them..LL is losing her looks faster than a pale of water with 2 holes in it. She's dirty looking and it looks like she smells really bad. I would never let this girl get into a car with me.
ok, i get that she is a big MM fan, but why is EVERYTHING she has done over the last year (or so) representative of MM?
she actually looks pretty good and her legs are insanely long, but i just don't get it.....
Me neither, redchick152. Just do not get it.
at least she landed on a magazine cover....if she's not acting that at least can bring her some money
Yuck. She is nowhere close to channeling the sex appeal that MM had.
I think that's such a boring shoot, so much like her others.
it's nice to see that she was able to keep her career going by landing the cover at least. i feel like she really has to reprioritize things if she wants to get back into the spotlight for acting which is what we all thought she wanted from the very beginning.
Why does this terrible actress insist on doing Marilyn Monroe themes? Does she think she's actually on par with her? I'm really sick of her and wish she'd stop insulting Marilyn's memory.
I get that she's into Marilyn Monroe, but why do legit magazines like Vouge let her do these MM shoots? She looks nothing like Marilyn!!!!! At ALL!..That said, this is probably the best shoot I've seen from Lindsay Lohan in a long time. They did a good job editing. I'm glad they took off all those freckles, they don't look good with her blonde hair.
One question: Why??
Oh wow, I must have been out of the loop- didn't realize that it wasn't going to come out as a MOVIE movie. That's unfortunate, it's hard enough as it is for her to get roles, and now she has to try to find another movie, get hired, film, and not drive a car into a lamppost or whatever. She may never do another movie again!
And yeah she should just get a Marilyn tattoo like MF and call it a day. NO ONE sees the resemblance, and she definitely doesn't channel the sex appeal.
I love how Pop makes it seem like all of us are CLAMORING to see LL on the small screen in her busted up idiotic straight to dvd movie "labor pains"!!
I can't help wondering what this girl ever did to you to deserve such vicious comments.
wtf Lindsay. Pretty sure Marilyn didn't spray on horrible orange tan on herself and weighed 80 pounds. Enough with trying to channel her!
lol, who at Vogue though this one deserves a cover? are we celebrating mediocrity in the film industry? she's not relevant besides being the only proud stalker of a c list DJ - literally...and please cut out the cheap Marilyn impersonation, it's almost as old as her little sister's face
maybe they asked her to channel MM, does she have the power to decide Vogue´s cover theme? I think she looks great and I love Vogue España!
OMG She is NOT Marilyn. I'm so sick of that.
Hello? Noone cares about her or her stupid movies. Stop posting about her.
She just looks so used up and empty inside. I really hope she pulls it together. So much talent and beauty just being wasted.
She looks terrible!
She is delusional if she thinks she can channel Marilyn.
I don't exactly understand what she is trying to do with this magazine spread, you'd think that if she posed for Vogue and wanted to be taken seriously again she'd clean her act up, maybe stop shopping so much and going out to pubs of sorts. I don't know her and I really try not to judge people I don't know but its hard to take her seriously with her behavior lately it really is.
The thing is that in the cover of this issue it says "The new Marilyn Monroe" is Spanish. My goodness i don't want to sound harsh I really don't but I think in a way that is an insult to the legacy that was Marilyn and she is not her, nor is she like her, and in no way can she become her. No one can I hate that whole they are the new ....... at the end of the day they never measure up to their accomplishments and in my opinion people should just not even try to impersonate these legends or do the same things they did.
Dear Lindsay,
We get it....
Kick Dirt,
All of us!
amazing!
Blah blah blah - so boring, she's a snooze. No talent, not good-looking - why is she popular????
Her legs aren't really THAT long...the camera is shooting up at her, her shoes have a platform, and the stocking seams are running vertically. It's just an optical illusion. I can't believe that she wouldn't have had SOME input on the shoot. You're telling me Vogue doesn't do their homework? They're not really the sloppy seconds type of publication.
that's one cheap ass looking wig on Blohan
When you look at her nude pics that are supposed to look like Marilyn you can really see how much they DON'T look alike. I mean, I like Marilyn as much as the next person but I don't throw on a blond wig every time someone pulls out a camera.
She looks very pretty. I just don't understand why she keeps doing this whole Marilyn theme. Enough is enough.
Okay, LL, we get it. But a blonde wig does not make Marilyn Monroe. How many times will she pose as her or attempt to "channel" her? Geez...
Since when does a star have control over the theme of their shoot? I think the people at Vogue Espana had more to do with that than she did.
