Elisha Cuthbert looks all calm and normal shopping at Bristol Farms in LA yesterday but she's about to get her scary movie on. The actress screamed with co-star Paris Hilton in The House of Wax where they obviously became buddies and learned to share outfits now made famous by Paris' exit from jail. This Friday the 13th she will star in another horror flick, Captivity, where she'll play a model who is on top of the world and then gets kidnapped. Personally I am not a huge fan of the horror genre (blame it on Poltergeist) and I prefer to see her in 24 or even the surprisingly cute The Girl Next Door.

I really liked girl next door but I'm not a huge horror fan so I think I'll pass
1She looks cute here
2me no likey...smoke is icky..but i like her bag
3I love horror movies, but i am not a big fan of hers.
4sounds dumb
5hate her pants
I used to really like her. Now with every story I read, I realize more and more than she's a flaming idiot.

7This is another torture movie.
they need to give it up now
8The Girl Next Door is surprisingly cute! I like Elisha and I wish she would stop doing horror movies.
9Who would buy her as a model? IMDB says she's 5'2".
10yeah she is an idiot , i hate her for the way she treated Trace Ayala .love him .. b*tch
11The movie trailer looked AWFUL, I will definitely be missing this one.
12I recently met her and I am 5'2 and I felt like a GIANT next her, she's pushing 5 ft....
13I hated the ad campaign for this. I was driving to work on Santa Monica Blvd. and it was just too much for the morning commute. I am glad they had to take down teh billboards.
14I love horror movies but I'm not a fan of hers so I probably won't see the movie.
15Hmmm, I liked The Girl Next Door.
16How is she going to play a model when she is so short? I hate it when they cast short people as models. It's so unrealistic.
17I wonder if this movie is going to suck..
18Pop Sugar,
Do not call torture (rape, and kill) porn a "horror" film. There's a stark difference. Good thing you didn't mention the obvious: all these films are brutally bigoted with the entire film being about a woman's rape and torture.
God, please do not mention this genre again. Seriously.
19In a world where Eva Longoria plays the most well-known supermodel on tv, apparently Elisha's fine as a supermodel.
Now pardon me while I go vomit repeatedly.
20cool, next!
21I hate horror films, so this will be a pass for me.

From the reviews I have read, she does get her freak on, but it isn't "rape" in the film (she gets it on with another captive guy). I think "torture porn" applies more to real snuff films, not fictional movies.
I think the film makers call this a horror film, so I don't understand your anger at Popsugar. I might be out of the loop a little, though, so please feel free to tell me if there is something that makes this stand out differently than something like "Saw". (Or do you protest the advertisement of all of those super scary films?)
23Anything that deals with rape, kidnap and torture is a horror flick to me! Those things aren't exactly light comedy. But I get what Janeiro is saying. Horror is usually supernatural stuff, right? This sounds more like an erotic thriller.
Elisha is such a pretty girl...even in bummy clothes she looks great.
24She is pretty, but i don't like the things i hear about her.
25Why is it that everytime I see pics of her out and about, the words 'bag' and 'lady' automatically come to mind?? But yea, I actually liked the Girl next door!
26Girl Next Door is a cute flick.
27I love her in The Girl Next Door.
28i like her, when she's not looking like a bag lady.
29She looks cute, but I haven't seen anything with her in...
30I love horror movies, but I don't like Elisha. I hate her in 24
31not cute.
32hot mess
33Horror movies are great, though
34Loved The Girl Next Door, actually one of the few who liked House of Wax too..I'm a horror fan, so I'm looking forward to this one.
