4I watched a looooooooooong commercial for the Paula show while I was waiting for Top Chef, and that woman is crazy. Crazy. Nice as can be it seemed, and very hard working, but off her rocker crazy.

She was a first time offender who DIDN'T violate probation. If she violates the terms of her sentence, she WILL serve jail time (it's clearly written in the story cited). Paris' sentence for DUI was a suspended license and alcohol awareness classes. She continued to drive on the suspended licesnse (driving recklessly on the suspended license) and never attended the mandatedf classes. Thus she violated probation and was given the sentence for the probation violation. Eve's DUI sentence was actually tougher than Paris'.

22Oh, Pad, you beat me to it. I was just going to point out that if Paris had gotten a punishment that severe on her first offense, maybe she'd have learned her lesson and wouldn't have thought she could get away with things like multiple probation violations, which, as she learned, can result in jail time. I bet Eve is a lot smarter than Paris and will give the authorities no reason to lock her up.
