Whitney has filed papers for a legal separation with the intent to divorce Bobby Brown. Her husband of 14 years was in LA to celebrate his daughter's 17th birthday. He also made time to see a show and call People Magazine. He told them he was "really saddened by the whole situation." Looks like it's time for someone to buy them each one of these.
On the other hand, The Scoop is reporting that Whitney is actually filing as a way to win Bobby back. He is supposedly having an affair but Whitney can't quit Bobby. She filed to make her friends happy and scare Bobby but her plan may have backfired. Here's more:
“Bobby told Whitney during an emotional scene in which the tearful diva was pulling on his arm and begging him to stay with her, that this time, the marriage was over for good,” according to the Star.
Brown returned to Steffans’ arms, and Houston began plotting how to get him back.
“Whitney has had an irrational commitment to Bobby that borders on obsessive,” a source “close to the couple” told the tab. “They are so intertwined and co-dependent that Whitney has convinced herself that she can’t survive without him.”
We just want poor Whitney to get her life back in order. Rumor has it that she is planning on recording a new album with Clive Davis. Could it be time for Whitney to come back?

29I so want Whitney to make a comeback. Bobbie messed her up but her career is not over. It's unbelieveable that she still has fans, but she does. Hopefully Bobbie will just stay away from her for good. It does seem like she would take him back if he tried. It's so sad.

I think Whit was attracted to the bad boy who she thought she could tame but instead he sucked her in. I think it's the same for Brit she thinks she can turn her frog into a prince but she can't. She needs to escape before he changes her

36people choose what they are use to/comfortable with, even if it's unhealthy. so if you have a woman who has been in a relationship with an alcoholic she will likely choose an alcoholic the next time around. the drama and stress are disturbing to the rest of us, but she "knows her part" and so does he. this is her routine and that feels comfortable to her. i.e., he gets drunk-she tells him to stop-he smacks her around-she cries and threatens to leave-he begs forgiveness=pattern/comfortable.
