Almost 2 months ago Cameron Diaz met Criss Angel and the two had a thing. The problem is the magician was actually married. Did Cameron know? We were never a fan of the coupling and we just hoped the whole thing would disappear like a magic show. Unfortunately, he declared his love for her right before his last stunt. Now, out of nowhere, his secret WIFE is filing for divorce and she sounds pissed. She accused him of having an affair with Cameron and wants his money. Here's more:
Celebrity lawyer Dominic Barbara - who represents Angel's wife, Joanne Sarantakos - says he will now subpoena Diaz and have her testify about their romance, in state Supreme Court in Mineola, to support the spurned spouse's divorce suit on the grounds of mental cruelty and abandonment.
Angel - who changed his name from Sarantakos and moved to Las Vegas after he hit the big time with his TV show "Mindfreak" - kept his wife of five years "as a secret" to increase his sex appeal to female fans, Barbara said.
"We're naming Cameron Diaz as his lover," Barbara told the court. "We will subpoena her as soon as she comes back to New York."
Yikes! A secret wife? Cameron had a fling and now she's going to have to deal with this crazy mess. She was just seen leaving LA, but we don't know where she is landing. If it is NY, then she may have an unpleasant surprise waiting for her.

8From the bits I saw, the wife has been with him for 15 years, although it's a little fuzzy on if they were married the whole time or only the few years.
But she was with him when he was a nobody and he probably convinced her he needed to seem single because his "sex appeal" (such that it is) was part of the show persona that added value to their joint investment of the years spent trying to hit it big, which evidently he only recently did. If she supported him in the struggling years, then she has a stake in the big earnings now. She might have been able to overlook some straying over the years, but he did that big public shout out to Cameron a couple of weeks ago, so that might have been the last straw.
It's not unusual for famous men to hide their wives. Even the Beatles did that in the early years. (Not that this guy is anywhere near as significant as the Beatles.)

I met Criss in Mexico about 6 months ago- he really is kind of sexy in a grungy way in person- not super nice though. His crew on the other hand-sooooo nice. You would have never guessed he was married. He was shacking up with a 20 year old 'blonde' then. The secret wife was in some of his earlier shows.
cam isn´t a homewrecker, she has some sense of sensibility, she never broke into others relationship without given them some time to end. Homewrecking is not nice and Cam doesn´t practice it.
