Katherine Heigl ran errands in LA on Saturday before walking down Sunset Boulevard with TR Knight and his boyfriend yesterday — get her look here. The actress had a reason to smile — The Ugly Truth took the third spot at the box office, raking in $27 million. Katherine worked hard to promote her film with Gerard Butler and earned the right to celebrate with her BFF/former costar.

I thought the secret agent guinea pigs looked more interesting--and so did moviegoers, since it was #1.
Ungrateful and Self-Absorped do lunch. Snooze.
I'm really surprised at how much money that movie made considering what horrible reviews it had. That disappoints me...
Not a fan of hers or her films. Her film may have opened third, but that's not #1.
I think Gerard Butler had a lot to do with this movie doing as well as it did. He brought a macho touch to this chick flick. Gerard was hilarious and gorgeous. I'm surprised at the great chemistry Katherine and Gerard had. They were great together.
it's nice to see they still care that much about each other
im gonna miss him on g.a.
She is radiant onscreen - she has something ineffable. I prefer the blonde hair thourgh - this color doesn't complement her skin so well. She should, like Sandra Bullock, Meg Ryan, Julia Roberts, etc., work her glow for as long as she can and squirrel away that money. She is a good actress. I get so tired of people being so negative about her. She is among the best in this genre. Better, actually, than Drew Barrymore, I think.
These kind of movies from comedies and romcoms usually do well no matter who the stars are. It has nothing to do with the actresses. Same way superhero movies will do well, kiddy flicks and thrillers.
I agree with alioh, she does radiate onscreen.
Actually, I have to see some of her stuff. Heretofore, save for one interview I saw of her online, I have just seen her look pretty in still shots with a fabulous wardrobe.
I disagree about her being a good actress. I have seen most of her films and find her very stiff and limited. She can skate for awhile on her looks, although I think she tends to look very washed out most of the time, but some others like her. I don't think she has the acting chops to have a film career past 40, when most of the cute roles dry up and you get cast in the character parts or stay on the small screen.
hmmm....i'll probably netflix this movie when it comes out and i'm sure i will probably like it for the mindless rom-com it is....BUT i wish she would diversify her roles a bit or she is going to get stuck playing the same characters over and over again. i think she is really good as Izzie Stevens and totally deserved her Emmy, but her movies aren't that great!
although i did LOVE Knocked Up......
EWE! Heigl is NASTY!! look at those wrinkles, how old is she?? well she looks like shes pushing 50! she is th emost hideous beast in hollywood! she thinks she is the shizzle, but i got news for you heigl, you are fat, have stretched out pig ti%%ts and you look like you stink!
well it's nice that her movie did well although it's not the one that my husband and i went to see. i just had a feeling that we saw all the funny moments in the trailer and i didn't want to sit through that again. oh well...congrats to her.
The truth is, Gerard Butler is a box office hit. At least equal credit where it is due.
I loved the comedy--crassness and all, for it had GERARD BUTLER and a sweetness to it as well. For those who didn't see it, your loss. If you're prudish, don't go. If you want to laugh...get ready!!! It's hilarious with handsome Butler and pretty Heigl. I've gone 4 times, and the audiences are roaring with laughter.
