Cameron and Justin really don't like to be bothered by the cameras. They have fought with paparazzi for years and now another event has taken place where police reports are being filed. We knew JT looked pissed off the other day and now Cameron is claiming that they were assaulted with a deadly weapon - that weapon being a car. The photographer maintains that he did not assault the couple, and instead that he was verbally and physically assaulted by them. People reports:
According to the actress's report, "Diaz and Justin Timberlake were leaving a friend's home when a photographer hiding in the bushes tried to take a photograph of her," Harding says. "They both then chased the photographer for a short distance.
"The photographer then got into his car and drove toward both (of) them, causing Diaz to jump out of the car's way. She felt the driver was trying to hit both of them, and so she filed the report. She's alleging assault with a deadly weapon, with a vehicle."
In the statement, the agency says the photographer was not trying to hit Diaz with his car but was "attempting to leave what he perceived to be a dangerous situation for him and when he tried to do so, Ms. Diaz and at least one other member of her entourage stood in front of his car in an attempt to entrap him."
According to the agency, "The photographer is currently in the process of filing a complaint against Ms. Diaz and Mr. Timberlake."
X17 Online posted their statement as well. It's one big old mess. We want the pics, but we don't want lives in danger. JT and Cammie could lighten up a bit, but the photographers also shouldn't have to jump out of bushes to get a picture of the couple.

1LOL Suga. I think Cameron's just a very unfriendly celebrity. Not only does she hate to have her pics taken, she hates signing autographs for fans as well. She was rated #1 worst autographer by some magazine.

No, Pad, I don't think they are entitled to NO privacy. But, I do think paparazzi and publicity are part of what they sign on to when they try to become stars. Some stars - like Cameron Diaz - seem to think we should all pay attention when she's in a movie and send millions of dollars her way, but can't be bothered the rest of the time. That bugs me.

29Fine, if you want to believe that being famous means that you no longer have a private life and no longer have the same rights as other people, so be it. But I hope you never have to witness firsthand how horrible a paparazzi attack is. And let me ask you something else:
You are walking out of a friend's house with your boyfriend after a nice dinner and some quiet conversation. A total stranger jumps out of the bushes at you and raises something shiny. You're not going to try to defend yourself? What if he wasn't carrying a camera, but instead was carrying a gun? What if you just didn't know? What if you were alone walking across a parking lot and someone drives their car up right behind you? Then another car pulls up, and another and you are blocked in. Would you feel safe? Would you think that was part of anyone's gig? What if you were getting your nails done with your little sister and there were a dozen people standing outside the window and when you were leaving, they were calling you a slut and a ho and asking you about your drug habit and whether you've had an abortion - in front of your 10 year old sister.
These are some of the things I have actually seen happen with my own two eyes. It's ugly, it's dirty, and it's a sh*tty thing to have to live with, and no one signs on for that. No one.
30Although I do agree at times that the paps go to far, this doesn't seem to be the case. It's always the same thing when Cameron is around, just learn to smile and wave and go about your life. These two annoy me, severely.
Padraigin: I do understand what you are saying, but as a celeb. they should be prepared with knowing that the paps might be there. I think most of the time it's the same paps showing up, so they should recognize a few faces. If they are scared or nervous then go into a store and call for people to come help you. It doesn't help to go at them, they are only getting what they want...a bad picture to sell. There are some celebs who seem to get along with the paps fine, they smile, wave and move along with their life.

33Well, I definitely don't wish it on anyone, but it seems to be the same celebs in the "news" for this. It just gets old, and Cameron is notorious for not being the nicest person ever, to the paps and fans. They're celebs and this is what happens, not saying it's completely right, but it happens. I'm not completely defending the paparazzi, trust me, but it just seems to be the life of a celebrity now. People are more interested in personal lives then professional...it's a different world then it was before the internet started becoming popular. That's all I'm saying.
34Yeah, she should be nicer to her fans, but she certainly doesn't have to be nice to the paps. If you play up to them, they love you one minute, but the one time you ask them to leave you alone, they become like a pack of rabid dogs. I actually know a little bit about what I'm saying.
