If you are not Black than please do not comment on Zahara's hair. SHe is a beautiful little girl and obviously Angie and Brad do not want her growing up with all the hang ups about her hair like so many black women. I say this as a black woman.

when my youngest was shilo's age she had her own idea of "style". once my mom was here and my youngest wanted to go outside to meet the school bus for my oldest daughter. i still remember her screaming "NO! That's QUAZY!" and kicking like a mule. it's a joke at our house how picky she was and how insistant she was about her outfits. i think if shilo didn't like what she wore, we'd be hearing about it. doesn't mad dress like that? that makes the outfit uber cool to the little sibs.

I'm black and i happen to think that some black people out way to much enphasis on hair. I see nothing wrong with Z's hair. When I was her age I HATEDDDDD combing my hair and my parents let me roam free. Her hair actually seems to be curly and not corse like some blacks.

Many Ethiopian children wear their hair like these. Liy's (the famous ethiopian model) daughter has the same exactly hair as Z, and wears just like that.

I think we as black people put too much energy on hair. Look at Heidi's sons hair, Sam. Looks the same too me.

QT, I hope you do realize that petroleum based hair grease cause more damage to black hair than good. Plus all of that pulling, brushing, with small tooth combs cause unnecessary breakage. What they need to do is make sure her hair stays moisturized with good and proper conditioners and wear her hair in protective styles to keep it from tangling up. Zahara is Ethiopian and she looks she has Type 3b/c hair so it's easier to maintain than type 4 hair texture.

I agree, and her hair is usually moisturized. There are many other things to worry about then hair.

I'm black and Zahara's hair looks terrible. That isn't natural, it's uncombed and unkempt. Period. She's not teaching her to love who she is, she's teaching her to not give a damn and just leave the house.

I think it's cruel to critique kids. They're kids and their hair and clothing doesn't have to be perfect, especially if they are allowed to pick it out themselves or do their own hair. Part of the beauty of being a kid is not giving a crap about what other people think or how you look. Let them be kids for a little while longer, the world is especially cruel to celebrity kids and soon enough they'll be battling self-image issues and public scrutiny and criticism. You people have no class that would criticize little girls.

Good for AJ to take her kids to the toy store to buy b-day gifts for their brother. They all look totally cute and if they aren't perfect, so what? They're going to a toy store, not to walk the red carpet.

Precisely because celebukids are scrutinized, rightly or wrongly, their parents should make sure the kids look their best. Z's hair on a little boy is fine but on a little girl not so much. Her hair looks like a fright wig and fixing her hair will not teach her to be self-conscious either. The other way around is more like it.
