These may not be the best pictures ever of Clive Owen, but I know some of you ladies out there will be very happy to get a glimpse of the swarthy star leaving his Paris hotel room today. I'm a little more partial to Gerard, but I will say that Clive has been growing on me recently. Especially after seeing him in the preview for his highly awaited sequel to Elizabeth, The Golden Age. Yum city.

9Oh GOD, I'd have to say Mr. Owen is one of my top 3 favs., ever since seeing him in Gosford Park. Children of Men was my favorite movie of last year and he definitely should've gotten an Oscar nomination for that role.

30I've loved him ever since I first saw him a few years ago in a great British series they showed on PBS Mystery called "Second Sight." It's an excellent crime drama series that I think was the inspiration for CSI (in the series Clive plays a homicide investigator who finds out he's losing his sight, but keeps it a secret--sound vaguely familiar??)

Clive is amazing, just yesterday I watched Closer and I have to hold my breath every time he yells at Julia Roberts (during the scene when she stupidly breaks up with him, I mean, seriously: which insane woman would take a Jude Law type of man over a Clive Owen type?).

33I think Clive Owen is very yum, but the ELizabeth movies make me cringe! They are so far from the truth and the bits they do get right they blow waaaay out of proportion. Helen Mirren's version is better, but Hugh Dancy doesn't quite compare to Clive Owen
